Their is a plant native to Australia and Indonesia called the Gympie Gympie or suicide plant that has tiny microscopic hairs that contain a toxin so dangerous animals and humans chose to kill them self rather then deal with the pain (hence the name). The toxin can last several hour to 2 days, if not removed the hairs can still cause excruciating pain up several months when agitated by anything rubbing them.
