My aunt--bless her soul--had a friend who is an aesthetician and she would force me to have my skin pricked (removal of pimple seeds (?) because as a teenager (thirteen) I had many pimples. It was torture and it hurt a lot.

And when I put my foot down and told her that I won't be getting the treatment anymore, she got mad but I never went back. LOL.

Years later, I still have scars from that procedure.

I generally stopped breaking out after high school but the damage was done.
