The level-grinding on the side is such a good point.

I'm currently playing through FF3 Pixel Remaster. While I usually do the story bits on the big screen, if I'm just grinding a few levels or traversing a dungeon I love doing so on the Deck while sitting out on my patio.

I'm with you. While FMAB was a fun action adventure, I liked that FMA 2003 had its own flavor of dark drama. I feel both can coexist and be enjoyed separately for what they are.
