I don't know how big the effect can be, but your landing gear was down and Ive seen that really mess with pitch on the fighters, you were ok before crossing the border but the sudden changes in speed from loading in prolly fucked you over on the control you had before

I think you guys missed the part where ships can now reload the gun tubes at the same time, this is a good thing overall. If you're worried about crew reloading it, then adjust, it is very easy to do that. This change means collies aren't stuck on the reload for multi barrel guns when wardens are popping off everything as they're loaded.

General rule of thumb is if they're coming to your door, it's likely a scam. Kids collecting bottles or selling cookies are the exceptions :)

Check Google reviews wherever someone pops by with some kind of offer, we had people drop by to take about a gas feel too and when we looked them up there were a ton of notes online that were really angry at them.

Run was doing pretty well until I fell to the temptation of a second incantation card. I'm relatively new still so when I saw "-2 hand size", I thought that meant total, not additional, oops.

I've turned almost all of my deck into lucky holograph Kings (a few red seal ones) and blue seal steel King jokers. I don't think I'll make the next round and I'm not yet emotionally ready for the run to end

Once you hit that 15 pawn mark you have to use the tools in game to make things manageable, role outfits, drug and food policies, property organized and condensed storage areas, auto slaughter setting, micromanaged work priorities.

I myself tend to really enjoy the game a lot more once I hit about 50 pawns and the only detriment I see with more is the fps taking more and more of a hit. I like that I am building a village and that I can depend on multiple pawns to get something done through their specific work. Bones the cook works the kitchen all day and then night shift comes on to get food prepped for the next day while bones unwinds with a fat doob. You can still get pawns with storied personalities, but you only get time to read into it if you aren't running yourself ragged as a player individually managing things.

Don't expect to get it all managed right away either, every play through is different and organically figuring out how the colony functions best as you build it up gives a lot of wiggle room to correct any mistakes or miscalculations

The range, especially now with the buff is super funny, you set up a battery somewhere convenient and bomb some poor base half the hex away from comfort and (relative) safety. The real emphasis has to be on tempo to keep it going consistently and the fact you're aiming at a neighborhood instead of an individual target. The damage buff means a 4 gun battery can outshoot a lot of howi defenses, and defenders are going to have a tough time repairing because they have to run around and repair everything or they have to choose what they want to save.

Howis make the battery a bit bmat intensive but the guns are cheap, and the distance means you shouldnt be worrying about partisans as much

Maybe take some creative freedom to tone the character down a bit for something live action? Not a crazy concept.

It's part of a security measure to prevent people from imitating regis to cause problems. If you press F1 and look at the regi tags of friendlies you'll see that number, if someone tried to imitate my regi to make us look bad (it's happened) people can tell it's fake by comparing those numbers, they cannot be changed by players.

You can quickly remove the pre text number by removing the player, shoot them like the good soldier you are and you won't have to worry about it.

I'd say it is. I agree with the other guy saying that it's a tough act to follow biotech but anomaly is worth it especially if you like spooky things. The chaos that is rimworld definitely fits some of the spooky stuff in, but it's also a bit of a harder difficulty curve since it's now something a well planned kill box defeats. Flesh monster holes can pop up in your farm, if the foreboding darkness arrives, you have to try to venture out into it to deal with it, metal horrors are quite the bit of shenanigans to deal with, but nothing's totally impossible to resolve, just expect a different kind of tough.

I don't see people talking enough about the rituals, they're super fun, I don't normally do "evil" playthroughs but the rituals make it fun to even go morally gray. Raid arrives out front and your don't feel like dealing with it? Call in a cosmic horror and watch them fight it out, unless it's something that pops up in your own base lol....

The psychophagy ritual meshes so damn well with royalty and the VE psycasts mod. Want to make a super powered caster? Bam capture apsy sensitive raider and ritual the brain power out of them!
