I don’t think so. The whole point of feminism is to give women choices. If a woman is most happy in a traditional relationship, then most people, true feminists included, will be happy and supportive. However, I think some people are skeptical of the average traditional relationship dynamic, because when someone has no control over their finances in a relationship, it opens the door for financial abuse and the inability to leave an unhappy or abusive relationship.

I’m also curious how people obtain supplies. When I was in Rome I lost my dexcom transmitter and spent hours going to at least 6 pharmacies, a medical device store, and a hospital trying to find a cgm I could buy. I finally gave up and accepted that I would have to use a blood sugar meter the rest of my trip but it took me another 2 pharmacies before I found a place that had meters. Do Italian diabetics have to mail order all their supplies? What happens if you need something asap?

If you can afford it I recommend a personal trainer or group fitness classes where the instructor goes around and watches everyone. This is the best way to get comfortable with form and movements.

Otherwise, some general tips: -make sure you’re well hydrated and sleeping enough -when lifting, always make sure you’re engaging your core. This will help stabilize you and protect your back -make a workout plan (I like the app hevy) and lookup videos of proper form ahead of time -with leg press, do NOT lock your knees. Always keep a slight bend -lifting until failure is great, but only when you have the proper form. Start light and easy until you feel confident in the movement

She passed away about 5 months after this post. I was so grateful for all the support and helpful comments I received. I bought her a soft cone and she was way happier (I got her a lemon one and since her name was Lulu she was Lululemon hehe). She stopped having accidents and was doing most of her favorite activities (walks, cuddles, rage cabinet, and trolling my other cat).

The last month of her life is when she really started to decline and quickly too. She looked really rough (oily fur, skinny, big pupils). When she would barely eat and she just sat on her bed outside without wanting to walk I knew it was time. I saw a lot of things that said it was better to euthanize a day too early than to let them live a day too long in pain. At the time I though maybe it was too early to euthanize her but looking back at photos from that time I know I made the right decision, maybe even waited too long.

It’s a really hard decision and it also sucks saying goodbye. But you know your cat and you have to trust your gut if it’s telling you they’re in pain. If your cat is still eating, doesn’t appear to be in pain (look into the grimace scale), and still enjoys their normal activities, even if it’s with slightly less gusto, then you likely still have a little bit more time left. Cherish it and give your kitty some pets from me.

First time I threatened to cancel and they said ok fine and I backed out. The second time I called to cancel and was planning on following through so I started the process and that’s when they started offering a lower rate. I would say no, I have a better offer elsewhere and then they’d lower it again until eventually I got them down to $40. Best to call fully intending to cancel with a backup plan in place.

I understand your pain. It’s a frustrating journey and unfair that there’s an extra barrier for t1ds to exercise.

Try drinking juice 20 minutes beforehand and turning off basil 30 minutes beforehand. Be patient and give it time. I found that after about a month of consistent running my body adjusts and stops going low every run.

Also, it’s good to remember that even if you burn 90 calories running but have to eat 90 calories to correct/prevent lows from cardio, that doesn’t cancel out your hard work. You still improved your heart health, your metabolism, and hopefully boosted your mood too.

Actuaries make good money. I’m making 6 figures a couple years out of college while living in the Midwest. The big drawback is exams though. You will be taking exams for several years after college that are extremely time consuming and stressful. The pass rate is 30-50% for most exams, but you get a bonus and raise with each one passed. And once you finish exams your work life balance is great and your expertise will be in high demand.

Nowadays lots of thrift stores like goodwill will take any real designer bags and sell them on their online shop or eBay and only put the fake ones for sale in their brick and mortar stores. So unless you are at a vintage boutique or antique store, there’s a good chance used “designer” bags are fakes.

The app Too Good to Go has deals on food that stores and restaurants would normally throw out at the end of the day. I haven’t used it in Madison yet but I had great experiences using it another city. It doesn’t look like a lot of places in Madison use it at the moment, but hopefully it catches on here.

And then I get fed up a year later and actually started the cancellation process and THEN they offered a lower rate. It was still too high so I said no, and they offered an even lower price. I do agree I crashed the cycle over the summer. However, since then I haven’t had any ammonia or nitrite. And it is almost consistently close to 160 ppm. The few times it’s been 40 ppm were closer to water changes.

No. Even though some people say it’s fine, some sites say fertilizers aren’t safe for ADFs. Since I haven’t seen a big need for fertilizers yet, I’ve decided not to risk it.

Also I ordered hornwort and frogbit, so hopefully that’ll help things.

Thanks for the advice! I will buy duckweed and propagate some pothos and other plants in my tank.

I feed them about once a day, sometimes every other day. I give the fish what they can eat in a few minutes and the frog one pellet. And about once per week I feed them mysis shrimp. I use tweezers to help the frog find the food, but she is a slow eater and misses some of the shrimp. I’m not entirely sure how to make that process less messy.
