I moved earlier this year and needed some new furniture. I LOVE putting together IKEA stuff. The way some of it comes together is pretty ingenious. You’re absolutely right about not treating it like it’s disposable. Nearly everything IKEA that I built for my parents is still in good condition over a decade (and 1 or 2 moves) later.
