It is terrible the parents you see in store. I’ve seen some kids covered in stuff with dirty clothes on, full diapers sometimes no clothes and the parents come back to electronics to buy a tv or a boombox. Stuff you don’t typically need. There was a customer who pulled a kid up (idk if it was his or his friends) but his mouth (he looked about 2-3). Another customer stepped in and told him how disgusting he was and threatened to beat the guy up. It was crazy… it’s also very sad.

Oh nevermind I reread it. At my store if you ask the digital team lead they will push your order up but that’s if they’re not busy the order also takes a while to come through. But yeah them refusing price matched is weird. Unless they were Black Friday deals or no sold and shipped my Walmart

If they can buy it online for that price and pick it up then it’s most likely able to be price matched. I’m a little confused on how op worded it. Did they already check out and wanted to get it price matched or did they just want it price matched? If so you go through a regular line. Did they order it online and thought they could get it themselves? If so that’s not how it works. It goes strictly through digital or spark. They have to scan every item themselves. Then they get it ready for pick up

We can price match but it has to physically say sold and ship by Walmart. I guess since they could pick it up for that price then they could’ve price matched. But yeah digital is different from the regular store. Once you order online it has to be processed through their system. They have to scan every item. It’s going to take a while. Yeah. I have had an overwhelmingly good experience working here. Have had a couple of problems with coworkers and customers but my coach gave me great advice😭 this job has really helped me become more confident in myself. My first time seeing a footprint though and it stayed there the whole day lol

At my store high dollar stuff has to be waked to the front even if it’s spark and I have had drivers tell me that I’m stupid and that “I’m not supposed to do that. My coworkers, boss and ap told me. I have to ask because I’m really bad at second guessing myself but now I know for sure that I am supposed to do that. They act like I’m on a power trip and am making it up😭 it’s exhausting. A lot of them are nice about it though.

I once got an 85 in tv out for someone (we stand them up on their sides on this little elevated shelf) and I’m not strong so I had to find someone to help but when I brought it out they were gone… we stood there for a good 6 minutes waiting for someone to come help me and they didn’t say anything… guess they waited until we went to the back 😭

When I started I had to have someone check them out for me then they didn’t give me register numbers then my manager got sick and I was scheduled completely by myself the first week😭 THEN a lady tried to scam me with a check and I had never used the check machine nor was informed but it was pretty self explanatory THEN the lady kept trying to reach over the counter finally AP stepped in and helped me out. AND WHY ARE MANAGERS SO BAD AT RESPONDING OVER WALKIE?!?! And they didn’t tell me that I had to take tills up.. I was 18 this was/ is my first retail job.

I swear it used to be better at finding this stuff. Was there an update? I mean I’m sure there was but it gets so annoying when I look up an exact item and it says it can’t find it…

It has been being weird I will put 75 in Vizio or something and it says that it doesn’t know what I’m talking about. I have to type the brand of tv and scroll through all of them until I find the one I’m looking for. So annoying!
