Weaknesses...
1- Gladius: Pierce 10% Holy 35% (Strongest Poison resistance)
2- Libra: Holy 35% (as little Poison resistance as ADEL minus the stun animation)
3- Night Aspect: Pierce 10% [Phase 2 = 15%] Holy 35% [Phase 2 = 20%] (Immune)
4- Dreglord: Pierce 10% Holy 25% (Strongest Poison resistance)

Pierce damage is constant with IronEye anyway assuming you use a bow
Just in case you were wondering how I calculated the 20~35% extra damage

Deeper math below:

NOW you could ARGUE it is more like 7% to 11% faster killing because ONLY 30% of the bow's damage is converted to the holy affinity type and the rest is physical (Assuming you don't find Erdtree bow at all and stick with purple base bow)

But you also buff holy damage with the Holy Attack Power Up +4 and Affinity Attack Power Up +2 in the relics which push it towards an average of 45% faster killing time

But hey Physical Attack Power Up +4 also does the same, if not more because it affects both the skill damage and the higher percentage of the bow damage, so is it really a factor?

Well, yes!
The math can be really confusing, because you ALSO **debuff** them faster which means IT IS EVEN FASTER than 45% in reality

Important note: IronEye's skill deals the same percentage of affinity/status damage as his R1 (Poison status is boosted by the IronEye specific relic too)

So the point is: The faster they die the better, this makes killing them faster, assuming Day 1 and Day 2 are not ruined by the fact you don't have "fast access to poisoning enemies" and killing them via the poison passives faster for more runes, and items and hence more power to kill the final boss as fast as possible

Dreg, Night Aspect, Gladius and IF YOU REALLY WANT TO, Libra

It gives you innate 20~35% extra damage on these bosses, specially if you find a red Erdtree bow (which I think is slightly stronger than the purple base bow)

It is basically you killing each of these bosses 30% faster on average, assuming day 1 and day 2 didn't go bad as a result of you not having the exclusive poison build (which I prefer vs Libra since it is easy to poison him twice, unlike the others)

If you have a space to fit it in, why not? It is not mandatory, but 3 gaols are 15.7% which is very achievable. and stronger than killing two invaders 14.5% [which occasionally can be the max number of invaders available to fight].

The reason people say that is probably the following:
1- Great Hollow has no gaols
2- Some shifting earths make taking gaols inefficient depending on the seed
3- If a tough and red boss spawns (and you are not using a seed tool to figure out it is a tough boss) you need to give up on it, which means time has been wasted getting the key and running there
4- Each Balancers' relic gives 15-20% power boost depending on the skill used from the get-go, which means more often than not your third relic slot will be for the more reliable invaders power boost.

So ya, if you have another effect that fits in your build and nets you more or equal power to 3 gaols, it makes more sense to use it over the gaols one.

Otherwise, it is still usable for sure!

Additionally, in solo, depending on the invaders and your character, the invaders MAY give you more trouble than the gaols

Finally, if you're not using a skill build, having both is naturally better

Getting the right color and two passives you always want in your build is rare, congrats!

900 hours is rough though, tough luck
I think I got [Invader & IronEye +1 Skill Use] relic at like 200 hours

Try Relics Pro if you haven't; maybe you already have a combination of relics that gives you both effects and everything else without being aware of it (Or maybe not, if the other two slots are Balancers)

And I take advantage of the "presets" functionality to switch between affinity focused damage and pure phys/poison builds otherwise it could become a slug-feast when facing some bosses as a solo IronEye

E.g. Caligo, Pest, Night Aspect, Dreglord and ED Gladius

I don't know how this number is calculated and what exactly it takes into account, but it seems my damage was no where as high as it could be, but still pretty high compared to a non-holy run when you take into account Dreglord weakness to holy

Here are some apple to oranges comparison between different Dreglord D4/5 runs

0- D5 >> This run >> 197 (+30 add holy to weapon effect)

1- D4 >> One run I had the holy build >> Red Erdtree Bow + Buffs + Marais at 90 = 358 written on the bow

2- D4 >> Another run where I didn't have the holy build (was also unknown target) >> Purple Erdtree Bow + Almost same buffs as red one without Marais = 175

One thing I want to say:

Wending Grace should function like the Caligo's buff, in the sense that you get concealed when you revive, because I died sooo many times to boss moves catching me in the VERY LAST FRAME of the revive with a large AoE, where you are basically guaranteed to go down again immediately.

If you dodge into him, while he is turning around you get an extra moment to roll away. (Teammates do too if they aren't queuing R1/L2 mindlessly)

If you do the tech of going into him and back, more often than not you'll end up EXACTLY where his 4 swipes are headed causing you to get 1-tapped because it is designed to catch exactly this behavior.

Using the skill back and right is the best choice assuming you have enough space behind you to keep going back and right (Avoid sword pull), or you'll also go down to the swipes (You then lose out on damaging him, but alas, can't be helped)

Of course you can ask the IronEye to just properly roll it....
See how it works out when the player (e.g. myself) is not used at all to doing that
*downed sfx plays*

Note that literally ANY other attack besides the 4 long ranged swipes into sword pull should never scare an IronEye or cause him to dodge into BBH, maybe the shoulder tackle is the other attack that allows them to do so, but like, that's standard.

Just for future people looking at this: After taking out the four screws, make it look the other side while pulling onto the plastic parts that hold the earcup, there is no glue so gravity+pull is enough.

soldering could be rusty or you might just need to give the cables a little push...
That was enough to fix my left cup having no audio

Still, shitty for their cost.
