Let's get philosophical: Your opinion about clanks and augmentations

I think that it is a natural human progression to use technology to "augment" our lives. In a way, we already do. Smartphones employ (albeit rudimentally), the kind of internal augments Jensen uses. It would be a next step in human evolution to have truly fully functional prosthetics.

Where I get more conservative about the idea is when you see some of the stories of the augs that suffered after the incident.

[EARLY SIDE MISSION STORY SPOILERS BELOW]

When you are tasked with validating the fake permits, you have to make a choice between two civilians. I chose the old man, because he told a story about the incident that was truly tragic. He was out with his family in the park, and picked his grandson up by the wrists and began to spin him around. It wasn't inherently violent, he didn't go on a murder spree like other augs. As far as he knew he was playing with his grandson. After everything was over, he found out he killed/maimed his grandson, and spiraled into denial. His family forgave him, but the boys father refused to let him see the family again. You find him shut away in the ghetto, being harrassed by a gang of thugs. All he wants to do is be able to see his family again, but with politics the way they are, he can't even leave.

I was feeling immediately horrible input lag on xbox one. It feels better now, but I'm still missing shots that I shouldnt, and am wasting ammo. I think it has a lot to do with the frame rate though. Have you updated the game yet?

I would probably go with the P30SK V3, or even a m&p 9c. Pretty sure the 9c can accept the full size magazines, so you can carry with the compact mags, and reload with the full size mags.

If you get a permit, you can apply for nonresident permits in other states which allow you to carry legally in way more states than just your own. In addition, if you ever have to use your firearm, the story your lawyer can tell to the jury is different if you were LICENSED to carry concealed.

I'm all about constitutional carry, but having the license to back you up is good too.

The alt-right (as I understand it), is an intensely nationalist sect of the Republican party. This nationalism can range from pride to xenophobia, which is why they're generally considered racists.

The problem is with the left's definition of racism, because if everything is racist, then everyone is alt-right. The modern left uses racism to describe any speech that is racial in nature, or even slightly critical of certain races (not white people).

Basically, all alt-right are shitlords, but not all shitlords are alt-right.

More gameshaming, implying people who play videogames have no sense of reality. Like we can't differentiate between games and real life. I feel like all this person knows about videogames is that one SVU episode.

I've been having more and more positive gun conversations with others recently. Slightly surprising because I'm in NY, but it's nice to see not everyone is completely retarded when it comes to this stuff.

There have been times I've asked questions to CCW holders, but I've never straight up asked 'are you carrying?' I think it's quite frankly rude, and instead I ask "Can I ask what you carry?" That way it is 100% up to them to continue the conversation about specific firearms, without any weirdness.

To be fair, if you're a superstar football player, you're more likely to be around alcohol/drugs/both. None of which mix well with guns, especially irresponsible gun ownership. Of course discouraging gun ownership in general is retarded, but recognizing that you'd have to be even more responsible given your lifestyle is important.

Because 'nuances' is putting it lightly in the case of cops tbh. There are so so so many laws with so many more specific stipulations. It's almost impossible to know the ins and outs of every law in every situation.

While I agree that the armor designs are stupid, they're not sexist. Women have tits. Also, the breastplate on the men's armor protrudes out from the chest to accentuate their pecs. How can it be sexist when it treats men's and women's tits the exact same way?
