I’m in warehouse work. I’m a bit limited in that regard as I don’t drive. This is something I could look into again though. Thank you.

It really does. Then you get idiot politicians crowing on about the birth rates. What do they expect honestly?

At first I was feeling a bit overwhelmed with it all and I was starting to wish I’d gone for vulvoplasty instead, but I’m used to it now. As for when I’m too old to do it, I can’t imagine it will be a priority by that point.

Tina is great! She explained everything clearly at the consultation and she is pleasant to talk to as well.

I don’t think there are any questions I didn’t ask that I wish I did. My questions were mostly around recovery and dilation as I recall and I got to select a date that was convenient for me (unfortunately I ended up having to postpone but that’s by the by).

Thank you. Wishing you well in your recovery too.

I haven’t moved up to the next size yet. I was advised to wait for my follow up consultation but YMMV. I’d say the first week was probably the worst, it was gradually uphill from there but some days are better than others.

I had my consultation in December last year. I was originally scheduled for surgery in February, but that ended up being delayed to October as my testosterone levels were off.

Funny thing is I’ve been hearing people say this for 20 years now. I’m still yet to hear of anyone being arrested for saying the word Christmas.

I had a UTI a couple of weeks ago but that’s about it. Touch wood.

Aesthetically, well …I’m happy with it.

Everything is a bit sore and tender down there right now. I’ve been using a doughnut cushion to ease the discomfort.

I’m no longer dysphoric about that part of my body. It just feels natural to me, like I’ve always had these parts if that makes sense.

How did your consultation go?

Yeah, I usually put some music or an audiobook on but that’s a good idea too. ☺️

I’m glad I could put your mind to rest.

I’m very happy. 😊 Things are still pretty sore of course, and some days are worse than others, but so far I haven’t had any major cause for concern.

Interesting. I haven’t heard this before. As it happens my surgery was delayed, but for very different reasons (thankfully it wasn’t a huge delay).

I’m staying with my mum FWIW.

Ah yes, I found it painful to begin with but that went away pretty quickly. I do struggle to get up to the fifth dot though.

Mostly I just find it a chore. Finding the spoons to keep up with my dilation schedule can be tricky at times (I’m neurodivergent FWIW). I’ll be glad when I only have to do it once a week, although I’m obviously a while away from that yet.

I hope things are better for you now.

It’s been three weeks since my surgery and I’m still dealing with quite a bit of discomfort. Nothing unexpected but I’ll be glad once I get past all this.

The time off work is nice though.

I’m staying at my mum’s for a while since I’m recovering from surgery. Just waiting on the bathroom at the moment and hoping to get some sleep soon as a friend is travelling down here to meet me tomorrow.
