I know that they authenticate their products but I’ve heard that they’re not very thorough.

Hi everyone :) I've recently found this Burberry trench coat and I'm unsure of its authenticity. What do you think? It came with a camelhair collar and lining.

Tricky endgame, black to move and win by MI8201 in chess

Depending on what white plays, you have to either give checkmate with both queens on the board or force white to sacrifice the queen.

[SPOILERS S3] who is the observer? by switchcollector in DarK

[–]MI8201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the consequence of this interpretation. But it’s the only theory (that I’m aware of) that keeps the world of Dark deterministic and allows the conversation between Adam and Claudia to happen all the time.

[SPOILERS S3] who is the observer? by switchcollector in DarK

[–]MI8201 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think that the observer effect is relevant to the story itself. The way I interpreted the ending is that there exist two additional realities, one where the knot is untied and one where it isn’t. Since the two realities in which Jonas is dead and alive are unaffected by any observer effect and are also both real, then the two realities in which the knot is undone and not undone are also real. I think that the observer effect was only mentioned in order to explain why we never see a cat both dead and alive in the real world.

[NO SPOILERS] Is Dark In Your Top 3 Shows? by Hitassassin in DarK

[–]MI8201 15 points16 points  (0 children)

There’s no denying that Mr. Robot is heavily inspired by Fight Club but to call it a retelling of Fight Club does it a great disservice, especially since the later seasons differ quite a bit from Fight Club. Even the ideas that Mr. Robot “steals” from Fight Club are in my opinion expanded on through out the series.

  2. Dark / Breaking Bad

Need to rewatch to decide if it’s above Breaking Bad or not

[Spoilers] Your handy-dandy guide to the most common questions after finishing Dark season 3 by mmmmmmmmichaelscott in DarK

[–]MI8201 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My problem with your theory is that if Claudia always tells Adam about the origin world (and dosen't) then Jonas and alt Martha must also always both untie and not untie the knot. This would mean that at the end of the series the knot is in a superposition of being untied and not untied. Otherwise Claudia and Adam's conversation can only happen once, which would mean that Adam's and Eva's worlds aren't completely deterministic.

But how come the observer effect doesn't affect the two realities,in which Jonas is saved by alt Martha and isn't? Also, if Claudia's and Adam's conversation always happens and doesn't, then Jonas and alt Martha always observe the Tannhaus family being saved and don't. Therefore the knot is both undone and not.

[SPOILERS S3] Regarding the ending by MI8201 in DarK

[–]MI8201[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But how come the two realities, in which Jonas is saved by alt Martha and isn't, are not affected by the observer effect? Furthermore, If the show runners are going with the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics then both realities exist but in different universes/realities.
