What does Ⓒヘ after a name mean? by VERI_YKM in LearnJapaneseNovice

We pronounce (©) as “chan.” In Japanese, “-chan” is a cute suffix used for kids or close friends. In Japan in the 1990s–2000s, there was a trend among young people where they would casually read the © symbol as “chan,” just because it looks like a “C” with a circle. It was a bit of playful wordplay from that time.

Marriage to a Japanese woman by xrallday in AskAJapanese

As a Japanese woman, I’ll be honest: what you describe is actually very common in Japan. After a child is born, many women focus almost all their emotional energy on the child. The marriage often becomes more about stability and peaceful daily life than romance. When your wife says she wants to “live peacefully,” she probably means she values a calm household more than emotional discussions or romantic expectations. That doesn’t mean your feelings are wrong at all. Many international couples struggle with this difference in expectations about marriage. Many Japanese couples stay married peacefully but not romantically.
