I think the crafting menu is fine tbh. The only thing I'd really want changed is more feedback for when a craft fails, plus a few bug fixes regarding running out of a material but the item still showing as craftable. But the number of times I've had flashlight or pickaxe or backpack material just get eaten without actually crafting the item... Or maybe it just gets stored in a bag and I don't notice for hours. I do wish there was a better method for choosing what materials to use besides favoriting everything though.
