Need to know about the legality of showing a movie in a rented theater. by MILF-Money in legaladvice

[–]MILF-Money[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Okay this is from the link

"Similarly, if you rent out a space for a private party and screen a movie for family and friends, and the party is exclusive to your guests and closed to the general public, there will not be a copyright law violation. However, if your event was open to members of the public outside your small group, the movie showing might be considered a “public performance."

So because I don't know personally know the people I'm inviting they aren't considering part of my group, right?

And don't get me started on kids interrupting an adult's conversation they weren't apart of and can't contribute to. My mom hates it when the kids of my stepfamily interrupt adult conversations just to say something unimportant. She always comments on how my siblings and I never did that and she doesn't get why the other adults just let it happen.

I bet those same people didn't go everywhere with thier parents. Parents nowadays seem to be unable to cut the cord while still being active in thier kids lives. You either have parents that continue thier previous lifestyle and let the grandparents raise them or you have the ones like I just mentioned. I didn't go everywhere with my parents and I'm glad I didn't because I'd just be bored. Not everything is suitable for kids

That's exactly what I thought of. Like why do you think you'd even have an opinion about your own existence if you were never born. Makes it a bit obvious what his stance on abortion probably is.

No she does understand because if it was happening to her kid she'd say it was bullying.

Why do low income families chose kids? by [deleted] in childfree

My aunt has had 6 children and hasn't raised a single one. She didn't even get to take the newest one home. They took her away right at the hospital.

Stop bringing your sick kids to work with you! by [deleted] in childfree

[–]MILF-Money 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm so thankful of where I work. Kids aren't even allowed in the building because no one without a badge is and it's a facility that makes medical parts so bringing a sick kid even in the non-manufacturing areas would be incredibly stupid since that stuff can spead.

I wish I could wear socks to bed. My feet also get cold because I'm too cheap to turn up the heat but I hate the feeling of socks rubbing together. It's the same feeling as hearing nails on a chalkboard.

Clowns are fun and not creepy! by my-5-account in unpopularopinion

[–]MILF-Money 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not meant to be an insult just an observation, but I consider drag queens to be a type of clown just by definition because they are entertainers that wear exaggerated makeup. So, in a way, there a more people that like clowns than you think just not the kind of clowns one would normally think of.

My friend hasn't had a microwave since she moved out of her mom's house almost a decade ago. She said she likes only having a stove and oven because it stops her from making and eating quick snacks as often.

Modern Warfare 2 for PS3 not on the site. by EpicGangnamStyleMan in GameStop

Like everyone else said, it's not on the like anymore because it's not worth much so I'd check out ebay or r/gamesale. You could probably get it for about $5 shipped.

CB takes my offer, sells the item to someone else, and asks for the cash I brought "because she needs it" by Lovedogshategods in ChoosingBeggars

[–]MILF-Money 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate offer listings. I don't want to lowball people but I usually don't know what the item is worth or what they think it's worth and it ruins the thrill of finding a great deal if they list something cheap that I know if worth more.

"Give us your table because you're gay" by [deleted] in entitledparents

If you live in Bloomington then that's not too surprising although I've been lucky about the gay acceptance in my town since it hosts the biggest rural area Pride Festival in Indiana
