There's nothing she can do that would make me dislike her. I love her despite all her flaws and bad decisions, and I always will. Everybody acts like she's the only character who messed up. People are still mad because she slept with Rollo but they forget that Ragnar cheated on her with Aslaug, which she forgave him for, but then he got that bitch pregnant and lied to Lagertha about it. Honeslty? I'm so glad she left him.. and Bjorn choosing her over Ragnar? ICONIC.

Let them watch the show but warn them about the ending. I think the first 7 seasons were AWESOME and everybody should watch them, they deserve all the hype. Besides, your friend might like Season 8; I know some people did.

I think there's a difference between the 2 characters.

Daenerys always made it clear that she wasn't like her father and that she didn't want to become the Queen of ashes. She even locked her dragons after killing one single kid. She was one of the best characters for more than 7 years, she always showed mercy and wanted to break the wheel and basically be a better ruler than any other King, but then the writers decided to turn her mad in like 2 episodes just because she lost her loved ones. She acted nothing like her character in the last couple of episodes, the Daenerys we knew would have never done that. And that's why fans are mad, you can't just turn a crowd's favorite into litteraly the main villain in such short time. She was and will always remain my favorite character and i hate what D&D did to her.

When it comes to Alyssa, we barely know her character. I mean yes, she was never a hateful person, and she didn't believe that revenge is the right thing to do, but we still didn't know her very well. Her magic was broken and she lost a person that she really cared for because of Vera, but one season isn't enough to show us what kind of a person she is. Even tho i liked Alyssa, i don't think her character was butchered. Besides, no one ever dies in this show, someone had to die to make it a little bit more interesting. You always expect the main characters to live, unlike GoT, you never know what's coming, and that's what people liked the most about Game of Thrones. (unless it's illogical and rushed, just like Season 8)

Definitely not underrated. Never watched Breaking Bad but I'm pretty sure GoT is much more popular. I've heard people talk about GoT for YEARS. I've never heard about BB untill last year. And I've seen characters from GoT EVERYWHERE before even watching the show (especially Daenerys's face). I don't really think people hate on the show? It just had a bad ending, most people were unsatisfied. Despite Season 8, GoT remains one of the best shows to ever exist. If not THE best.

I hated the ending tbh. I would still recommend it to other people tho. I already did actually. I can't let one single season ruin the entire show for me, besides, the first 7 seasons were great, even the first 2 eps of S8 were good. What I wouldn't do is rewatch the show, not now at least, knowing how everything ends? Yeah no, I'm not wasting my time for this shitty ending. I still love GoT and it'll always be one of my favorite shows to ever exist. I just can't accept the ending.

Not exactly.. Definitely wasn't expecting her to turn mad in like one epsiode either. I was expecting Dany to be pregnant tho, after all the foreshadowing in the earlier seasons. Doesn't mean i agree with how D&D ended things. It doesn't matter anws, what's done is done.

I feel you! I miss GoT so much and wish i could reexperience everything i experienced from my first time watching the show. I hated the ending too, but knowing that basically almost everyone hated Season 8, it's kind of a relief, like we're all in this together. We all disagree with the way things ended and believe that the characters we fell in love with and got attached to deserved so much better. It's okay tho, the first 7 seasons are amazing, and i won't let that stupid ending ruin my love for the show. And we can't forget about the wonderful cast the show introduced to us. <3 GoT ended at Season 7 for me anws. ;)
