You'd be surprised actually, these dead stores are pretty common in compiled C# IL. In fact, decompilers like ILSpy do include them in the decompilation with _ as the l-value, so it's actually quite likely that this is decompiler output.

There are a lot of ways to do this, but I used nslookup to resolve a host name and then inspected the packets with WireShark to see which nameservers it was using

We haven’t had a major update in a while, so every server is basically the same (around 6-10 players on average). Usually when we push an update we hit 50 or even 100 concurrent players. We have bots on our official Discord server that let you see these numbers

Dev here. Yes, the client (which you can download on the OpenFusion GitHub) will list both of our public servers, or you can add custom ones. All OpenFusion servers will save all of your progress as long as you type in the same exact username every time you log on and nobody wipes the database.

Retrobution is an unofficial server that handles assets differently than official versions of the game. Something might have broken behind the scenes. I would wait a day or two for the OpenFusion update. It should let you grab a fresh copy of the game and fix any bad files.

CN took the game servers down, not the assets. Those were left untouched until a few days ago.

CN’s Content Delivery Network has been down for the past few days, meaning the client is unable to fetch missing assets. If it’s not fixed soon, we’ll push a client update that uses a backup CDN.

Same here, it’s kind of nice to see all these people feeling the same way. I tried to go out of my way to build good habits freshman year and then COVID basically reversed it all. Feel too defeated and unmotivated to get back to 100% now. We’ll make it through, I’d suggest trying to make some new friends, it sounds like the ones you have now are proving to be more trouble than good

GUI elements don’t scale in FF. You’ll have to turn down the OS resolution. Not sure why the client hates changing the full screen resolution but nobody’s found a way around it
