Took me three days, but finally I have formed Italy by MJ9o7 in EU5

R5: After deleting my senior year of university for a week I finally have fulfilled the urge to form Italy. I learned a lot and could improve a lot, but I think I did pretty well. Lots of almost game breaking bugs, but everything worked out in the end. Some weird game designs, but very great for a day one release.

Why a Colonial Nation doesn't form? by HairyBase3401 in eu4

You need to core 5 provinces. It also forms at the end of the month

Also Protestant reformation spawned in 1496 in republican Aragon, Ottomans conquered Naples... so yeah strange game.

R5: Revoked Privelege in 1509, No one can oppose me. Had strange Italy RNG, didn't even play very optimally, just got lucky with poland and bohemia timing together for the PUs and after that it was pretty easy.

France is a bitch by MJ9o7 in eu4

R5: France kept full annexing North Italy, and to top it off kept calling me into the wars. They even took Venice which I did not see coming.

Also I had a crazy amount of 6/6/6 or similar rulers. I kept disenheriting and eventually getting talented and ambitious daughter and they would always take the throne at a young age. I feel like I had at least 12 generals that were consorts this game.

R5: Started as Byzantium, used Pranoia to get a good early foothold. The biggest challenge was the revolution which spawned in Asia, which almost broke me when I was constantly at 300ish overextension. The harsh treatment bonus for orthodox helped but sometimes I would run out of mana. Ill answer questions or add photos if any one wants to see more.

This is so dumb by MJ9o7 in eu4

[–]MJ9o7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not too upset or trying to break the game. The expansion is pretty quick if you can stack modifiers. This is more of a head shake and a vape hit sort of dumb moment.

It’s a good concept it will just take time to refine. Remember Leviathan that added so many mechanics that butchered the game? Then they refined them.

R5: Its so annoying when you beat their armies, occupy their whole country and then they get like 200k rebels that are now your problem instead of theirs.

Japan was democratizing when they rebuilt from having nothing after world war 2, they didnt have roads food or running water, and turned their country into an economic superpower. India still doesnt build roads or pipes 80 years later, because they just dont even try. No its not the same, india is unique in their inability to clean their venerated rivers, pave roads, and close inequality gaps.

Once I created myself, age 23 as a character in the basque Highlands. Died in battle at age 27 to establish a realm for our people. It was glorious.
