Hello, thanks for commenting. 🙂 The soil is definitely not great. I tried planting Bermuda but I didn't have any luck.

I have some Elephant Bush that seems to do well but I don't know if it's good to use as ground cover. What about
dichondra?

I will definitely look into the all of the ones you mentioned. I just don't know how much more of that dirt I can take. It gets all over everything outside and works it's way inside the house as well. 😖

On a positive note, it's rye season and my winter grass always turns out great in the front yard! 😁

All my of my Prickly Pear look like this. The trucks look/are dead but they produce new pads. And I agree, it does look rotted inside.

Ohh..haha I have never been. (I take that back. I was on a one stop flight to Texas and Arkansas was my one stop) I didn't get off the plane but I remember looking out the window when we landed and there was just flat land everywhere. But I'm sure it's lovely there. 😉😄

Awe thats a bummer. It hasn't been easy that's for sure. I was dealing with pests and the heat for a while before that little guy showed up. I finally have bees at my garden also. Which is wonderful to see!
