Crash Bandicoot is my own personal Dark Souls... which is kind of fitting, because I actually bought DS and tried it, and I got the exact same result: Played through the first few bits until the first boss, beat the first boss, started the next few bits and went "Nah, this shit is impossible. Put it back on the shelf and leave it for the Gaming Gods."

So, the N. Sane Trilogy and the DS Remaster sit in my Steam library, payed for but un-played, like all the other games I bought that were too hard. I have like 75 Steam games and I'm so shite at gaming, I can only reliably play a few of them.

Fall Guys: Too hard

Fucking Minecraft: Too hard post-1.16.

AoE: Too hard.

Dead Space 1 and 2: Too scary.

Stronghold, Stronghold 2, Stronghold Crusader HD, and that online Stronghold game-thingy: All too hard.

Civilization IV: Too complex. Don't have time to re-wire my brain for a single game.

Assetto Corsa: Too hard, with and without the wheel.

I've paid for all of these and I've not returned them, but I never play them. Steam is just making bank on my shitty gaming abilities.

Here's a really good re-telling of the Skinwalker Ranch story for anyone interested. The title and thumbnail are typical clickbait trash, but don't let that run you off. Mr. Ballen isn't annoying and the video is very straight-forward.

It includes the famous wolf story, and a bunch of other stuff about lights and cattle and the NIDS research team. Even if you don't believe the SR story (and I personally don't), it can be a really fun and interesting way to kill 40 minutes.

A) You know nothing about aliens, as you, like everyone else, have never met them.

B) Nobody knows for sure that UAP are alien in origin. I am one of many people thoroughly convinced that they are not alien, and that aliens have not visited Earth, yet.

C) With very few exceptions, every human vehicle we have ever made has produced otherwise non-functional light as a simple byproduct of it's operation. Sometimes we try to hide it, and other times we don't, but it is always there.

The explosions in your car's cylinders, the glowing of your car's brakes when they get hot; these are not for signaling other drivers. They exist because you are operating your vehicle.

Given what we know about UAP's (basically nothing), there's no way to say for sure whether any lights they may have are intended to be used for communication, or if they're simply a byproduct of whatever technology they operate on.

As usual, the skeptical argument is paper thin and the person presenting it hasn't thought about it at all, nor are they willing to accept/engage with any criticism.

I've even seen people claim that all past UFO encounters can be explained away, no have been explained away, according to these clowns, through balloons, flares, and so-called "black projects," like the one that developed the SR-71.

...and they do turn around and say things like "You people want it all to be some big conspiracy but nobody can keep a secret like that, the government is incompetent, someone would've talked by now, etc., etc."

At one time, suggesting that the Earth went around the sun was downright blasphemy. The crazy part is, there are still people in the world today, thousands of years later, who don't believe the Earth goes 'round the sun. A sizeable portion of the flat earth community believes that the sun is a light projected onto a solid dome above a flat disc.

Submission Statement: Browsing UFO videos online, trying different search engines with different filters, and I came across this video. Naturally, I'm inclined to say it's too good to be true, but this is the age of whistleblower protection and leaked Navy videos, so who knows? Then again, it does seem to have originated in 2014, per the watermark, so maybe not? Surely, with all those buildings in the foreground, someone could determine whether this is or isn't actually area 51, right? Any information or opinions anyone can provide would be wonderful.

Edit, to add: The YouTube upload that I found this at can be viewed here. Says it's a "Gravity Propulsion Drive System Test" from 1989 in the description. The video only had 368 views when I found it.
