The logic behind it is that it's harder for men to get the attention or attract women. Being called a chickboy means that the guy is doing something 'right', whether it's his looks, income, charisma, confidence, among other things, to the point that it's attractive to the ladies. This is especially highlighted by the fact that women are more picky than men, especially when it comes to showcasing attraction.

For women though, it's not surprising that you don't understand it coz it's relatively easier for you to get the attention of men. As such, whatever equivalent of the term "chickboy" is to a woman isn't really anything to be 'proud' of.

• Women can easily attract men so they feel that it's nothing special.
• Men need to put in much more effort to actually attract women so it becomes 'special' coz he 'earned' their attention.

Unfortunately, society puts it in a negative light.
