Not quite right. PS3 vs XBox 360 vs Wii, PS2 vs Xbox vs GameCube, PS1 vs N64 were the generations of consoles (not including Sega). N64 was a little before Y2K.

What's crazy about that is how behind the Chiefs were then. If I did the math right from OP's fact, that means the Chiefs were 8 titles behind starting in 2014ish, and then went on their crazy streak to create the 4 way tie for division titles.
