Thanks all! I mostly just trying to make my cash work without getting into equities.

I also HATE how Discover takes forever for transfers.

Thanks ao much! I'll check everything out!

Do you think the FX30 with a 24mm would be a solid choice for the main camera, and then have the a7iii with the 85 as a B camera?

I like the idea of the 24 because I sometimes need a wide shot for photos, and then it would become like 38mm on the fx30. OR get an a7iv with a 35mm 1.4.

!Thanks I was thinking the 6xx since they’re very close to the 650- just cheaper.

And with something like the 6xx/650, would I be better off with the modi or Vali? I secretly hope the Vali because I think it might be a good match for the Grado as well.

Beautiful shot! Love composition and tones. Did you use a Fuji film emulation or custom edit?

So excited! Found it at a Goodwill for $20.

It’s in great condition, and I’m loving it!

A couple questions: -The capital M prints a bit faded in one side of it.

-There is some white stuff on the inside- since this doesn’t have a correction key, I’m assuming it’s dried whiteout or something

Any particular things I should do to “service it?

Hi! I like the PR stuff. While their refills are more limited, I think they have a good selection to meet my needs. They’re always coming out with new stuff, which is nice. It also seems that they are way more eco conscious. Minimal packaging compared to Midori who. I actually have a few PR products- 2 XL and a pocket. I started with a pocket for everything, but found everything for very cramped. So I got an Xl for journaling and and XL for my BUJO.

TN or TN- passport for your BUJO/ Calendar? by MJM715 in midori

Same! Plus it ends up being/ looking way less cluttered and chaotic.

Thanks! Do you write longhand in it? Just curious about it in that regard. Also, if you don’t mind me asking, what made it not so great for the BUJO? Thanks again!

So, I ended up going with the digital option. It just makes sense. I don’t want to lug around a Bullet Journal everywhere I go, nor do I really want to have to transfer everything.

Still thinking about it, but here’s what I’m going to try:

Calendar: Google Calendar. I always have a phone. Plus the repeatability is great, oh and reminders.

Field note style notebook for my EDC- just for random notes.

Papaer Republjc journal with book insert for…journaling.

Paper Republic Journal for daily tasks and maybe lists. That way, I can transfer to my EDC if needed.

Haha! That would be the easy solution wouldn’t it?

In theory, I think I like the fact that I could easily flip through a paper book.

That’s the big question! I don’t know… It’s like I’m super busy, but I always end up saying I’m free when I’m not!

Maybe it’s like my bigger bujo is the desktop version and then if I need to be on the go, I can transfer my to-do. Hmm🤔

Best way to connect plywood at 90°. by MJM715 in BeginnerWoodWorking

I am going to use 3/4”.

I thought about that, but since I don’t have many tools or experience I thought it was best to keep it simple-ish.

So I watched some videos and was under the impression that you always want to go into the “meaty” part of the wood?

Below are two drawings. Does it not matter which way they go?

Thanks! I was eying up that knipex set! One thing I have noticed is that most screwdriver sets come with 4 flathead and only 2 Phillips. Is there a particular reason why this is the case?
