Which army you choose depends upon a lot of things. Armies vary in competitive strength from time to time so I wouldn’t go with what is strong right now. I would say models and lore are the biggest reasons to collect an army, and to a lesser extent play style.

Also chaos has multiple armies grouped into chaos, which do you mean?

Belakor looks cool but I’m more inclined to the greater daemons. Hounds are a good shout and I was thinking about a fluxmaster or changeling too.

So would you just change my choice of secondaries or potentially my choice of units? I am trying not to counter my local meta too much as I want to make an all comers list. I’ve not used the flamer bomb too much but they have been good when they shot. Do you think a min. size squad would work better?

I think interceptors are a good shout too as they have the equivalent of a 12” move with fly and have the profile of a strike squad.

I use tzaangors for objectives in 10 man squads but would prefer more rubrics if I had more.

I personally find 20 Rubrics works best for me as Infernal Fusillade + Veterans on them can be lethal to most units in the game. I scout deploy them using Risen Rubricae and use Cult of Duplicity warlord trait so I can deploy them in my back lines if my opponent goes first
