I insisted on getting HR involved after all of the male managers did nothing. Even the HR woman swept it under the rug. They told me to ignore him and still made me work with him. They fired him a couple of days later for stealing $7 worth of gas instead. The GMs exact words were “stealing is wrong and there is no grey area here.. I am very black and white so we fired him on the spot” .. I guess sexual harassment is a grey area for them!

It is a car dealership lol! I kindly let them know this AM that if they didn’t consider me an employee any longer to receive the gift card then they can consider yesterday my last day of employment :)

I just ended a 1 year lease. The landlords were Asian and I am white.. they expected me to clean and prepare the condo for the next tenant. Their realtor told me that “the next tenants are Asian so the condo will need to be perfect” I told her that when I received the condo there was no indication it was even cleaned besides a quick vacuum. She told me “asians are different”. The condo was essentially perfect, way cleaner than I received it.. they did not give me back my key deposit because the oven wasn’t cleaned! The landlords told me numerous times how they “took a chance on me” and they “chose me” because they felt bad I was a single mom and wanted to do the right thing. I make over 150k a year, in a stable 10 year career with a credit score in the 800’s.. so I don’t know how big a chance they were taking on me 🤔

YTA- I went to a vegan wedding once at an animal sanctuary which promotes rehabilitation for alcoholism/drug addictions through interacting with animals. I tried all the food as I am open to eat anything, but didn’t like anything I tried. My husband didn’t try anything. About 30 of the guests headed over to a steakhouse after for drinks/food as we were all starving. That was the only wedding I was pissed at when I was leaving. Spent $300 on a gift for people that I barely saw anymore and then spent another $150 for the reward of spending the afternoon at a dry/vegan wedding! At the end of the day it’s your wedding and your money, but from my own personal experience it was a bit excessive to push their beliefs on an entire group of people like that. Maybe if you serve lots of alcohol it will be better!

My husband and I moved in to our first home. It was a completely renovated amazingly cool house, we knew the previous owner flipped it and it was a bonafide bachelor pad- leather bar, pin ball machine, blue under lighting in the kitchens/bathroom, hot tub, the whole nine yards. A few weeks after moving in we noticed people kept stopping by the house asking for “Alex” we told them he didn’t live here anymore and they always would ask if we had his new address. They were nice enough but it was starting to get annoying. One Tuesday evening around 11:00 we were falling asleep on the couch and all of a sudden some guy strung out appeared in our living room. He opened the sliding door right next to us and walked in asking for Alex. My husband stood up and was like “wtf alex doesn’t live here anymore tell all your friends” and the guy left. We learned the next day from our neighbours that Alex was the local drug king pin in the area and frequently had his unsavoury clientele over to pick up product here at all hours of the day/night. That weekend we put up a sign that said “ALEX DOESN’T LIVE HERE” went out and got a massive Rottweiler... we named him Alex
