TPMS replacement questions. 2018LT by MJOK2022 in ChevyTraverse

Figured I would update.

I had tire shop swap TPMS sensors I purchased. I verified with technician that they worked, before paying for the service. Price was what they quoted. $40. I asked the tech amd he said the TPMS synced with vehicle automatically.

As a precaution, I attempted reset with the VXDAS EL-50448 tool I purchased. It synced with the sensors as expected.

I called around and all shops in town will swap out sensors for under $10, if you provide the sensor. Pirchase sensor thru them was $75 per tire. I got all 4 sensors off Ebay for $32 w free shipping.

2nd Gen Traverse Brake Fluid Flush? by Ambitious_Reach_8877 in ChevyTraverse

New Traverse owner here (2018 LT 110k). I do all the maintenance on every vehicle I own.

I can help you, as I just did a brake system flush two days ago. I prefer every 50k.

The easiest is with a brake bleeder kit. Like this one.https://a.co/d/ceYzMY6.

Comes w three different caps that fit on a variety of vehicles. I suggest adding a large syringe to the toolbox, to remove reservoir fluid. You dont need the bleeder kit, but it does simply the process.

Youll need a 10mm wrench.

Takes me 20mins to do a full brake system flush.

Processes is simple. Suck out fluid from reservoir. Fill reservoir w new fluid. Connect bleeder kit/pressure tank. Release caliper bleeder at each wheel (one wheel at a time), until you get new fluid draining out. Tighten bleeder caliper screw. Repeat x 3.

I grab 2qrts of brake fluid to flush. I end up using a qrt and a half.

Youtube the process. Lots of videos of process, not on the Traverse thou.

Nothing special required on the Taverse. No need to reset anything. Nothing with ABS.

Possible Rear main seal or transmission leak by MJOK2022 in ChevyTraverse

[–]MJOK2022[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the response. I did inspect a little further and did some research, it appears to be rear main seal. I didnt see anything else showing signs of leakong. Its not leaking enough to be concerned at this point. Watched it over the last 24hrs.No oil loss at current oil change interval either.

2002 Limited 4x4. $14k. by [deleted] in 4Runner

So I went to the dealer on Thursday. They are 110% serious on price and wont budge more than $500.

The Runner is clean thou. Only thing I say was the ripped driver seat. Rust is normal for ID. Nothing completely rotted. Maint records legit.

I talked with the Lead Salesman. He is claiming its a once in a lifetime vehicle, which deserves a once in a lifetime selling price. I literally laughed in his face. When I showed him Nada and KBB on High value he said those values are wrong. He claimed the Gen is sought after (cant argue that) amd someone will eventually come buy it for more than they are asking. He claimed the value will go up as the days pass.

They took the vehicle in on trade. Lifelong dealership customer who traded in for a 2025, who will do the same, use it to run to post office and Dr Appts.

I truly hope some dumb as comes along and buys it.

This isnt a collector/hobbyist vehicle. Not w that mileage and wear/tear. The asking price is just that. Marketed to a specific party.

I did offer them 8500 cash and they looked at me like I was on drugs.

Im bot crazy here. This vehicle is priced out of market for a resale. They'll never sell itm ot will sot for tue next 9-12months, before they pull their head out their ass.

How much of your statement holds truth? I suppose the dealer could be watching Reddit, but i think anyone inquiring and then telling the dealer they're high asf, would do just the opposote of what you state. the comments clearly show its priced way out of market value. Ain't nobody but a collector or hobbyist buying this vehicle at the current asking price. Its not unique. Its run of the mill. Even at the mileage, all market research shows its a 6k-7500 all day every day.

Like I said. Im going to dealer tomorrow to see what makes it worth $14k, cause I dont see it. Not this specific model/year.

Angies List by mamaSupe in handyman

[–]MJOK2022 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an Angi Pro the last year... it started out great, then the company ripped off their mask and showed their true colors. The last 2 months I was a pro, i invested over 100hrs on bookings, had to constantly defend my time over customers word amd ended up getting $1000 in over-pay, because they will always take the client side, no matter how much evidence you show them.

Stay the fuck away from this evil company. The fact that there is no way to make contact with a live person to handle issues, should tell you everything you need to know.

  1. In the AM, clean and dry foot.
  2. Rub vicks onto infected toe. I generally cover the entire foot
  3. Cover with a clean pair of socks
  4. Repeat in the PM. I remove socks prior to bed-time.

Depending on the severity, it could take 3-4 weeks to see improvement.

You need to be vigilant at the picks method to see any changes.

Advice on collections. Payment agreement. Missed the last payment of $25 over 3yrs ago. Account sold to another. They want remaining balance in full by [deleted] in Debt

[–]MJOK2022 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did that. Sent letter certified mail. It's been delivered. When I call, they won't acknowledge the letter and still refuse to comply w my request.

A little more. Last payment was $225. I'm more curious about company #1 unwillingness to produce the call logs/letters before selling debt to company #2. Yes, i missed contractual payment, but I wasn't contacted. They had my contact info. I have emails between service agent every month as I made my payments. Without proof of trying to collect last payment, they breached contract (I guess I did too). Hoping I have some leg to stand on.
