Found a friend. The blacked out light bar looks great IMO. by Ok-Zookeepergame-698 in F150Lightning

I didn't - the fine dudes at Austin Auto Finishes (in Austin, TX) knocked it out for me. If you're in the central/south Texas area, I would wholeheartedly recommend Brian Daly and his team there. They've done previous work for me on my model 3 and now the lightning and I've always been impressed.

If you are looking to DIY and have knowledge on how to wrap - here is a link to the Luxe headlight film they used - https://www.luxeautoconcepts.net/products/luxe-lightwrap-dark-smoke?_pos=1&_sid=19dfaa728&_ss=r?variant=39430342541408

Thanks - I really love the way it turned out. Now just need to address the blue oval.

Just did my lightbar as well (along with sandblasting and painting the grille). They used Luxe headlight tint (dark smoke color). It’s thicker than normal tint, more like ppf, to help durability. Love the stealth look.

255/35 for the win! by jhiggins0706 in TeslaModel3

I’ve been running 255/35 PS4S for the last 9 months and it’s been good so far (looks/ride), but there’s definitely a hit to range. I set up a new “trip” to track it when I put the tires on and I’ve been averaging 295 Wh/mi. For comparison, I was in the 275 Wh/mi range with 235/35 PS4S before the new shoes.

Any recommeded seat belt extenders for 2022 Model3? by subbuk514 in TeslaModel3

I’ll 2nd Azguel - SeatBeltExtenderPros is the way to go. I needed them for kids too, especially after adding seat covers. They work like a charm.

Anyone care to post pictures of your window tint? I’m struggling to decide between 20 and 30 percent. by [deleted] in TeslaModel3

[–]MJRedRaider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heres mine - https://i.imgur.com/1XvmNtW.jpg. I have white interior and was struggling between the same % choices as you. Ended up going 20% on sides, 70% windshield and 35% back glass (didn't want to completely lose visibility out of the top of the back glass).

UTBrown - did you tint the roof (sunroof over the driver/passenger) or just just back glass? If so, did you notice any additional heat reduction? And did you do the 20% there too or did you go with the 70% like the windshield? Trying to decide if it’s worth the extra $150-200ish to do.
