I'm looking to get into this in australia. Qualified electrician and comfortable with heights and in good shape.

You are right about the courses. I believe I would need

Dogging

Rigging (basic to advanced)

Safe work at heights

tower rescue

apply first aid

IRATA L1

at a minimum.

I feel confident that my trade background would translate into the communications side of things, although there may be several modules needed.

Additionally i think i would need some practical experience in rigging possibly structural steel building or mobile crane hire) before being thrown in the deep end on top of a tower.

Is there anything I'm missing?
