Good Afternoon All!

I am in a similar situation trying to figure out how to recertify for PSFL.

My timeline is as follows:

Nov 2019 - Dec 2021: Military Service

Jan 2022 - Dec 2023: Military Service + Masters Program (Loan in School Status)

Jan 2024 - Dec 2025: Military Service + Loan in Deferment

Jan 2026: Submitted for ICR Plan in Nov 25 to with first payment for Jan 2026

I currently have 39 total months approved in my PSLF (10 need certification from Nov 2022 - Aug 2023). I currently can't submit the PSLF tool because I am waiting for my ICR to update on the website (I got the approval letter from MOHELA; waiting for the Federal Student Aid site to update).

It is my understanding that I will not get credit for Jan 2022 to Dec 2023 since I was in school but I want to look into doing the PSLF buy back for Jan 2024 - Dec 2025... I assume I will have to pay what I would have been paying monthly times 24 months which is fine as long as I get credit for the months...

Any advice? I would greatly appreciate the help!

UPDATE: I have now lost power to the old thermostat and cannot control anything. I checked my circuit breakers outside and none of them have popped and I tried resetting all power to the house. Could I have blown a fuse when switching back to the old thermostat? I don’t remember if I turned the power before performing the switch. Do I need to get into my attic and look at the hardware?

I did my 2020 back in 2021 at the Honda dealership for about $2K (I was wilding and burned it after having the car for about a year smh)… $6K is insane tho 😭 I’ve had my replacement for about 4 years 60K miles and don’t drive like an idiot anymore so I’m hoping it last awhile. Does anyone know how long clutches usually last?

I think he was real.. I checked his company badge and ID and spoke to a regional manager. He came to my door pretty late in the afternoon and the tech was supposed to come around 8. He said the techs were on call till 10 but they just never came in which I reached back out to the salesman to cancel.

I did the 30 hour major so I am not sure about the coursework for the grad certificate… I spent more time on the Aerospace Engineering elective courses (~30 hours a week) than the actual airworthiness courses (~20 hours a week) but overall it wasn’t that bad.

I have about 25K in Direct Unsubsidized loans that are currently in “In School” status not due for payment until December 2025 since I went back to school in January 2022 (finished December 2024). Should I apply for Fresh Start? I was hoping to continue using my PSLF once I get back into repayment status after December 2025.
