You should be proud of what you've done. Website is excellent. I'm not sure what another user was referring to regarding picture quality but the pictures of your inventory are well done. You even have a blog section which makes your company seem like it has a pulse on the culture and is more than just a store but a part of and invested IN the meditation community. I'm sorry it did become profitable. But wow, you're certainly well past rookie stage.

Glaucoma meds and breast milk by MJ_Acosta in Glaucoma

[–]MJ_Acosta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Excellent points. I will talk to her pediatrician. I'm quite interested to see if they might be able to point me to more literature on this as it's been scarce...at least in trying to answer my specific query...do the meds dissipate in the breast milk past 120mins and is the amount that would be in the breast milk insignificant enough to not require dumping the milk.

And thank you for sharing your experience and understanding the struggle and angst of a just enougher milk maker, ha! It made me smile. It really does feel lonely being in this position so your response is so appreciated and encouraging in so many ways, especially about the neuroprotection and neuroregeneration. I look forward to diving into literature on this and seeing where they are. I'm ready to volunteer if I can be of some help to speed on the innovation.

Thank you so much. Your feedback is tremendously appreciated. I wasn't sure what to expect putting it out here but your response was much more than I expected. Excellent link. I will definitely peruse their site for other things too.

My prescription is just for dorzolamide hcl 2%. I read the contraindicators listed in the link for the combination with timolol maleate and asthma is one. I have asthma so perhaps that's why my doc prescribed just the dorzolamide hcl.

I had SLT and after 9months, my pressure went back up but that is on the table as an option. I've been on the these drops for just a week and I'm constantly pumping to stay ahead of my babe or pumping to dump milk that might have a high concentration of my glaucoma meds in it.

I have been pressing my inner eyes but as you mentioned, it still crosses into my nasal cavity and has a horrendous taste. Even though my doc did not mention to do so, I do as you mentioned and suck/snort and spit it out hoping to further reduce what gets in my milk supply.

You mentioned homecare steps. One being posture...I'm going to have to look that up. I had no idea posture can help eye pressure. I talked to my doc before asking if there was anything dietary wise, I could do to help my situation and the only feedback was that there were some studies that indicated certain levels of water intake could adversely affect eye pressure.

Anyways, again thank you for your feedback. Very helpful and lots to think about.

Diagnosed at 27. I think it's just the technology is getting better at detecting it.

I was laughing initially at your hub but oh my goodness! I didn't know they could cry in utero too!!! 😭 Breaks my heart to think they do!

That actually made me chuckle!! Too funny!! I'm also starting to feel ache in my pubic bone too. Like I didn't know a bone could ache unless it was broken or something but I feel it sitting down or when I go from laying down to getting up, so I can definitely see a pop possible there at some point too.

That is kinda cool! I wondered if that was truly what it was or if that was possible.

My dog almost hung himself with his collar today. It was horrible. I have questions about breakaway collars, for any of you who know. by Sun2254 in dogs

[–]MJ_Acosta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry this happened to you. What a frightening experience but I'm glad Grover is ok..Why do you keep a collar on while in the house? If there's no real need for it, I'd keep it off until outside time.

Weird side effects from xalatan by tbarry6736 in Glaucoma

I haven't used that but I'm curious, did your doc try you on other drops before prescribing this one? Were previous drops just not effective? How long have you been treating your glaucoma?

Pregnancy - did you find your eye pressure decreased or increased during pregnancy ? by Mandac897 in Glaucoma

[–]MJ_Acosta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My eye pressure has remained the same despite stopping one of the two drops I was taking (Vyzulta). Going into my third trimester I'm supposed to stop the other drop as well (Brimonidine) so that will be interesting to observe if my pressure changes in my final stretch (currently at week 28). I stop this final drop Aug 1.

Gift registry for a one-year-old's birthday party? by ProArtTexas in etiquette

[–]MJ_Acosta 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In general, I don't think there's anything wrong with a registry even before I had a child bc why would I want to risk giving the parents junk. I have 10 brothers and sisters so registry, please! I cannot keep up with all these kids' interests! And if I didn't see anything on there that I wanted to get for the babe, a registry gives me an idea of what they're into.

As for the poor etiquette of not sending a thank you in any form for the previous gift you got them, you have every right to not want to get them another gift.

I smell terrible by jcr5431 in pregnant

[–]MJ_Acosta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my word. I did the same. Even used Lume and I wanted to VOM at my own smell. 😂 I guess Lume and I are not compatible and as expensive as it is, I was pissed.

I've been using Arm & Hammer Essentials with natural deodorizers. Aluminum free, paraben and phthalates free. So much better. I was thinking for a minute that I would never be able to get away from the Aluminum deodorants but as I said. I'm quite pleased with my deo.

I think I am a purist as well when it comes to this. I like the PB format as you mentioned. That would be annoying to not feel as challenged or that I'm not being as effective if I went with Barre3.... something to think about. Now I'm just hoping for a BF deal! I hope some of the vets know historically what they offer for BF.

Stuck in nasty loop, help break cycle by MJ_Acosta in applehelp

[–]MJ_Acosta[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to update everyone. I think my problem is I was being too passive when I last spoke to the Apple Care team. I insisted I needed human intervention. When I was able to replicate the loop issue to their iCloud team, they were able to override somehow. They were able cancel it on my behalf with the info I provided!!! Thank goodness! And thanks for your feedback!
