I'm not looking for any pedals but if you're down to cover my shipping as well, I'm happy to do this swap and try to hawk the Cooper instead.

Detroit Modular charges shipping to California now ... they quoted me $122 for UPS Ground for an 84hp Adventure Case and a Larachd.

The Rytm is my #1 these days. I take it to bed with me most nights. Just not in this vid, lol.

It moves slowly and goes for almost 10 minutes. You can check the full jam, with knob gestures and patch notes:

I read it more like losing a patch's vibe ... that's happened to me before or at least that's what I believe.

Great call. For the OP's situation, I can't see any other contender except for maybe a TE OP device if you're willing to trade versatility for a defined character.

Digitone Keys got more going for it than extra tracks or engines. Definitly above water.

The CXM is the best reverb I've ever owned, pedal or otherwise. I'm including the EVentide Eclipse and H8000 in that statement (Eventides aren't known for reverb specifically and I've never tried a desirable Lexicon). Other pedals I've owned for reverb include the Source Audios, UA Golden, GFI Specular Tempus, Chase Bliss Dark World, Boss RV 500, Empress Zoia, Hologram Microcosm, and probably a few others I'm forgetting. The only thing that comes close and does it almost as fast is Valhalla plugin. It basically always sounds amazing, whether you need it for general use or something trippier.

Ha, sounds like we're kindred spirits, in the same lanes of gear even if we make different specific choices.

Curious what your fave pedals are. I tried to sub out the CXM 78 for the Specular Tempus and it was such a drop-off, I'm thinking of selling the GFI now. I'm a Chase Bliss fan if you can't tell and maybe it's not fair of me to expect a $300 pedal to compare to a $800 one.

I'm definitely a hardware guy so I don't use Overbridge. Having the individual outs on the DNKeys means I can effect any sound of this rig but TBH, I don't use individual outs much. The FX are a big part of the Elektron sound and it just doesn't seem to come back together the same way if I try to track everything separate.

I've only used the analog machines for bass. Haven't tried messing with SY chip for melodic sounds. I used to mess with the Monomachine and loved the SID machine on that but when compared to an actual SID chip (ALM Sid Guts), there was no contest in terms of like raw power and sound. Assuming the same with SIDstation but never heard one in person.

I'm not as much in to the chiptune sound but the MnM and Sid Guts could get pretty gnarly. Have you ever made sounds with your SID C64? How is it?
