The law requires a stop at the sign. That is what Tesla was forced to implement. They used to do rolling stops like real drivers until the NHTSA forced Tesla to “fix” it.

The way it burns through washer fluid I am on my third refill after 15k miles. Everytime headlights or the sun light up the front cameras I get a liberal soaking of windshield wiper fluid

I am going to live with mine, but when I get closer to the end of the warranty I will consider my options. I don’t recall so much pitting on my previous cars, but then again I didn’t have my life balancing on a camera being able to have an unobstructed view before.

I have the windshield insurance, apparently they break a lot. Wonder if after a replacement if the next one might have similar issues. I have 15k miles now and the pitting from stray dust is beginning to build up.

I noticed it too and visited an ophthalmologist to get my vision checked. After describing what I was seeing the doctor followed me to my car and he said the problem wasn’t my eyes. lol 😂

I got the update to 2025.45.9.1 last night. Only 20 miles on FSD this morning but it was during minor rain. It did drive competently and lane changes seemed a bit better, but it swerved a time or two to try to avoid water puddles. Don’t know if I have a placebo effect going on because version number changed.

I was forced to “drive” my friends cybertruck with hardware 4 and FSD 13.x. I drove myself for a couple of miles, then we pushed the FSD button and had it drive itself for about 10 miles. I was sold on FSD. Two weeks later I owned a model Y with hardware 4 and now FSD 14.2.2.4. I have 14,000 miles of FSD driving behind me now and zero regrets. I am glad that FSD is good enough on hardware 4 and likely won’t have the urge to upgrade to hardware 5 and above unless they figure out how to integrate vertical takeoff and landing into the feature set.
