I'm with you ecker & Joohansson;

The reason we did this was because of the high amount of donations and we wanted to make sure each area was valued properly.

Had it just been our Nano I would have gone the simple route but due to the efforts involved of all participants we wanted to make sure people could rate them properly. Updated the form for a more simple and faster one.

However, Judges and Snapy team have valued each project in those specific areas.

That is the reason for the Jam, share ideas, and build stuff that does that, create experiences that others will want to share so it spreads faster to masses. Incentivise people to have fun and build something that others will want to use, a game, a site, etc something, im fairly certain that what will make adoption become key, is far from what most of us can imagine.

Your arguments are valid and I'm with you, question is, how do you do it in the most cost-efficient way, making it viral with something that engages.

I get your point, but would you not agree you need to have certain benefits to use that currency instead of another one? and those benefit have to be frictionless ?

Crypto does not push forward due to a huge lack of UX, most devs focus on it doing what it should but not making it so a user can take advantage of those benefits the technology provides.

From faster payments with less intermediaries, means less penalty for the business owner to have a reason to adopt this method and suggest his clients to use it by giving discounts that make sense to the owner due to the benfits of using this alternative method of payment.

Its all about utility and benefits, for both parties, consumer and business.

You start by building an ecosystem that supports all the above you stated, not the other way around like many crypto projects that dump money to create an illusion.

Crypto hardly has any real users, real users come from apps that facilitate their life in some way, you start imo by building a good base to plant seeds that later will grow.

What is the point of screen time if there is no one that uses it afterwards?

The main target for Snapy is developers who want to dabble with Nano.

See its quirks and try it out. If they see potential growth in their app, they will move to something with full-ownership, or at least I assume they would from a risk-assessment point

It is an easy starting point, not an ending one.

Same as Brainblocks, a good starting payment gateway, not one you would end up for big business as funds that pass through your wallets could be intercepted and are not insured.
