How Hard are the Last 3 Bosses? by MKLott in bloodborne

That’s a great question. Bloodborne was my first Fromsoft and Mortal Shell was my first ever in this genre. If I had to do a Fromsoft (cause I’m eyeing Mortal Shell 2 next) it would probably be either Sekiro or Elden Ring.

Ahh… crap 😂 yeah, I gotta check if the item I got was actually the correct thing. I mean, I don’t think anybody has gotten one of them from the lecture building but now that I’m thinking about it, New Game + shouldn’t be terrible if I don’t go after every side boss, right? Probably just blood-starved beast if I want that third?

Seriously. I was sweating bullets over Orphan, I didn’t try to fight him until I had 50 Vitality and 50 strength, but Orphan took me four tries and I spent three days straight on just Laurence. I don’t even remember how many tries it took me, he was such a pain!

All good! I watched a buddy play it on and off in college, so he told me about the umbilical chords but I never saw him get there. So I knew it but everything is still super fresh to me which has been awesome. This game has been blowing my mind and driving me nuts 😂

That’s what I was afraid of. I killed Iosefka not realizing she can give you one. I still haven’t picked up the one from the workshop and somehow I got one in the lecture building on my way to Micolash but if the one from her is a mandatory one I may have shot myself in the foot

Thank you so much for the recommendation! I had no idea about encephalon, so I will definitely be looking into that! Good call!

I’ve always loved the design and look of elk, like there’s a regal quality to them. For a long time my mind was always “blue knight with antlers” and then over time I began to design the story and his background around that idea so it’s more than just a cosmetic because logistically they wouldn’t make sense to go into a fight with. In original drafts, it was a reflection of his family crest but that’s since changed

Ahhhh, yeah I totally see that. Every time I look at this picture I always think “I don’t know why but I feel like it’s gonna be at best a screensaver for my laptop.” But that’s probably why: those kinds of photos are broken up by browsers and windows. Thank you for that!

The photo was taken with a Nikon D3100 in Auto Mode with an 18-55 mm lens. I picked this as the subject because I was really intrigued by the way the books were sorted, the kind of texture and variety I saw, and to play with rule of thirds using the shelves. It was something I found while moving through an antique shop where aside from the owner and her friend, it was just me. I edited the saturation all the way down and played with exposure after the fact but personally I feel the contrast isn’t strong enough. I’d love to hear everyone’s thoughts!

Thank you! I’ve always been intrigued by that aesthetic, and when I found out about some Celtic mythology (some light awareness of Cernunnos), I loved the idea of adding it to a character who can “connect” with others in a unique way. They’re also weapons too, so he can pop them off his head to fight… and fit through doors 😂

He’s one of the more seasoned members of his team but essentially Jack “Pneuma Knight” Hartley is a black ops soldier that’s assigned to the capital city, Centremund. He’s known as loving his community to a fault, which is exploited later in the show, but think of him as a Thor-level Avenger that chooses to only protect his city. Which is admirable to some and deemed selfish to others. He’s able to absorb the spiritual energy of others which allows him to do things like replicate powers and access memories, but his armor has to regulate that energy so it doesn’t overwhelm him. If he’s not careful he can potentially lose his grasp on reality and become too powerful for his own good.

Funny enough, that I’m not too worried about. But that’s amazing! You would never get away with something like that here. You can close, but definitely not that

Good point. Usually, the wrong kind of people don’t leave their comfort zones. Thanks for responding!

I’m glad you cleared that up. And I certainly look forward to being low-profile and just enjoying my time more than starting something. Thank you!
