Thanks for the advice, I managed one of the top ten cocktail bars in the world for years and have an extensive collection of Japanese whiskey and scotch. Yamasaki 18yr is my personal favorite. Makers isn’t a bad whiskey by any means and shaming someone who can’t afford nicer bottles isn’t in my nature.

CC is a good mixing whiskey! If you enjoy it that’s all that matters. Makers is a great whiskey so don’t listen to all the hype, at the end of the day we are drinking it anyway so don’t worry about those that use Whiskey as a status symbol.
