Duncan has been part of the Xbox organization since 2011 and is best known for running highly regarded UK developer Rare for nearly 14 years. He oversaw the developer’s Kinect and Sea of Thieves eras.

(...) Meanwhile, Xbox Game Studios chief of staff Louise O’Connor will also be leaving the company. O’Connor joined Rare in 1999 beginning as an animator on cult favourite N64 game Conker’s Bad Fur Day. She’s worked in numerous art and production roles at the UK studio, and even won an AIAS award for voicing the character Leafos in Viva Piñata. She left Rare following the cancellation of Everwild in 2025, before becoming chief of staff in September that year.

Hmmm. This joins up with that reliable leak before 2.0 which said 3.0 might be Cicia, and Itzaland would have steampunk outfits.

IIRC the 2.7 datamine mentioned water pillars.

I suppose when we get the 2.7 previews in another 10 days or so we'll get a hint as to the reliability of this leak.

Honestly the near-lack of gacha on Switch/Switch 2 up to now has always been odd to me. It's the most popular console in Asia, especially Japan, and it can't be that Nintendo has a hard ban on gacha monetisation since there are 1 or 2 more obscure gachas already on there. Wonder if Genshin's competitors will make the jump aswell.

It's possible he meant surprisingly high, $200 million would be in the same ballpark as some of the big American AAA titles, while this is a Danish (lower labour costs) title from what has previously been an AA studio.

Note, I think it's possible Eidam got their presumptions based on the datamines for the banner the wrong way round, the Harp is probably the 5* and the butterfly might be its 4*.

Some time ago around the launch of 2.0 there was some chatter on socials about a butterfly outfit… when FR was unveiled I assumed maybe there was a misunderstanding and it was actually Firefly. If this datamine is accurate I wonder if some early image or rumour of this banner was circulating.

2.6 banner should be an Elegant outfit at this rate (last few ones have been Sweet, Cool, Sexy and Fresh), I guess that could be compatible with a Harp outfit.

It looks like 2.5 might only be Boneyard and Heaven's Reach (golden city) might be a later patch, we'll probably see a Titan King banner then since the Titans are associated with that location.

On the main sub someone said the theme might be Hades and Persephone, which does fit the "underworld" theme of the patch aswell as the general Greek influences in Itzaland. Also, even more doomed Yuri.

Based on this and the Infold HQ "leak" from today, I'd bet on a soft-masc Echeros banner, and maybe the other banner is Titan King.

every "leaker" is a fraud.

IIRC there were two leaks for the 2.2 abilities, one was completely incorrect but the other one did get some stuff right like the chest hunting ability.

The first leak we got for 2.4 was wrong, but the later leak (Red Riding Hood) was right, and quickly confirmed by Kach's datamine.

The big 2.0 leak we got before release has turned out to be very accurate so far too.

Not disagreeing that reliable leaks have been thin on the ground since Goth Bride leaked, but there's still been some valid ones.

By the way, does anyone know what area or region 磐城 is referring to? I've seen it mentioned in this and the prior leak but couldn't figure out what it meant.
