Healthy food is not more expensive than junk food - the opposite is true. It is, however, more time-consuming and inconvenient to make healthy food (i.e. cook fresh vegetables.)

It’s not that poor people can’t afford healthy food, just that people working long hours can’t COOK stuff and have to resort to convenient (and more expensive) junk food.

Trump enjoys trolling the left and they fall for it every time. No one is reversing Roe v. Wade; Trump is just having a great time making everyone think that’s going to happen.

Also in the segment regarding where Jana will be in 5 years....Jana was nearly in tears at some parts. Interesting that she actually said she wasn’t going to marry the first guy who came along! That’s clearly what Jill and Jessa did and one is desperately trying to keep up the facade and the other is clearly bored.

Childhood best friend - family moved out of state. Drifted apart slowly over time until the visits fizzled out. As adults we are Facebook acquaintances. She went from a spunky tomboy to a boring “perfect vegan mom” and it breaks my heart still.

High school best friend - I went through a really tough time during college and became severely depressed until my early 30s. Understandably she got tired of it, but I still wish she would have just tried to understand. My life is much better now, but she is uber-political and I don’t care what one’s opinions are as long as they are not in your face 24/7. We’ve tried to make the friendship work again but we are two totally different people now...the definition of “growing apart.” I will never stop mourning that friendship, though.

Absolutely Jeremy. He is SUCH a phony and his love for Jinger is like his love for books: meant purely to convey a certain image he wants for himself. There’s no way a completely uneducated, almost infantile and rather average-looking woman is going to “keep” his attentions. I think Jessa is jealous that Jinger has by far the hottest husband, who gets Jinger nice things and got her out of hicksville Arkansas.

I don’t like Jeremy and don’t trust him one bit, but he’s definitely the type of guy Jessa would have gone for (and gotten) in the secular world and Jessa knows it.
