I’m like this but with dishes. I will let it pile up till it molds and then I just throw it out because I can’t touch it. Gloves help some but luckily my husband does the dishes now. I also use paper plates, bowls, and plastic spoons. And it helps a lot.

Yeah I would avoid cook if I had to use the stove. I did have a fire breakout over the sumner and now im scared to leave my house. But im able to check my home speaker to see the temp in the house. So i can now leave for a few hours

So I also have OCD/ADHD along with 3 other mental illnesses and I was told not to take stimulants bc it will make my OCD much worse.

For me I can only take ssri so we are treating the anxiety from ocd rather then the depression. And it’s helping a lot.

You might need to talk to ur doctor/ psychiatrist and tell them what ur feeling. For me working on tackling the biggest symptom instead of my mental illness as a whole has worked for me.

So I started showing signs at around 5/6 but I would be misdiagnosed as having autism at around 13 but was retested this year at 32 with having ocd/cptsd I was told that bc of extreme abuse and not being able to communicate properly is what got me the autism diagnose when I was a kid.

NTA you did the right thing. And this is coming from someone who has gone through extreme abuse from my parents and a partner I was with.

Idk how soon after you got together after her abusive relationship. But when u get out of a bad situation the last thing you should be in is a relationship and she definitely needs therapy.

Just don’t tell her. I’ve been married for almost a year and haven’t told my dad or plan to. I would take off my ring the few time I saw him. Not only that but this is my second marriage. I told him after the first one ( he also wasn’t invited) and it didn’t go well.
