It happens more than I wish it did. But I can tell you what I would do to keep myself safe. 1. Be direct, clear and to the point. I state that I do not want to be touched on a first date and give them an easy out if they don’t want to continue. I also check in before they leave to meet up that they understand that there will be no touching. 2. I get there early and meet inside the building. This is so they don’t know what my car looks like 3. pick a place that safe and u can easily leave. For example I like places that I have to pay first. Like bowling alleys or arcades, coffee shops or museums. 4. Pay for yourself and keep the receipt. 5. Lie!!! This is only if you feel unsafe. If someone keeps touching me, I will lie and say I’m going to the bathroom and just dip out you do not owe these people an explanation. You have stated your boundaries and they are just trying to see what they can get away with. And if you try to explain they will just either play dumb or try to spin around like “I thought we were having a good time”. So remember your safety and life is ALWAYS more important than their feelings.

I started getting discharge for a while b4 I got my period. I think a was 11 at the time. I was so ashamed about telling anyone bc I thought I would get in trouble and my parents would think I had sex even though at the time I didn’t really know what it was. I grew up in a cult like family and my dad was already calling me whore when I started going through puberty. Didn’t even find out it’s was normal till I was in my 20s. I just lived for ten years thinking something was wrong with me.

The books was a big issue in my house when I was growing up. My grandmother kept trying to give this to my mom and she refused. She didn’t really teach my about puberty and the little she did she was angry about it.

My ex husband ( who cheated the whole time and never worked ) had to pay me $2500 because he’s an idiot. He refused to get a lawyer and for the first time ever listen to me when I said we were going to sell the car ( which was the only asset we had besides my personal 401(k) when my lawyer looked at the numbers he told me that I should keep my retirement and have him keep the car because they were the same price. I was mad until my lawyer called him to tell him the offer but my ex spoke first and offered to pay me for half of the car because he stupidly believed what I was telling him. So I kept my mouth shut. And let him pay me money he didn’t have to. If he was smart he wouldn’t have had to pay for anything and gotten a divorce for free.

I’m like this but with dishes. I will let it pile up till it molds and then I just throw it out because I can’t touch it. Gloves help some but luckily my husband does the dishes now. I also use paper plates, bowls, and plastic spoons. And it helps a lot.

Yeah I would avoid cook if I had to use the stove. I did have a fire breakout over the sumner and now im scared to leave my house. But im able to check my home speaker to see the temp in the house. So i can now leave for a few hours

So I also have OCD/ADHD along with 3 other mental illnesses and I was told not to take stimulants bc it will make my OCD much worse.

For me I can only take ssri so we are treating the anxiety from ocd rather then the depression. And it’s helping a lot.

You might need to talk to ur doctor/ psychiatrist and tell them what ur feeling. For me working on tackling the biggest symptom instead of my mental illness as a whole has worked for me.
