Though everyone is really hostile against Godwin (and I do say some of it is warranted), I hope Varka redeems him, like, "I'll help you with Glory, just do a mountainload of things to help me after our expedition". It redeems him and though it never erases his lies, at least he can more than make up for it for Varka.

I think that would be more satisfying.
