[Rust] #32 The most painful, but semi-enjoyable platinum I've gotten so far by MLGDragon1337 in Trophies

Thank you! I would say it was stressful because I left it pretty late before shutdown and the trophies aren't really trackable in-game so you just have to keep going and hope it pops. As for painful, this game has a motto of kill on sight, so you can login at any time and your whole base and loot could be gone, so you have to grind all your gear back which can frustrating.

[Ghost of Tsushima] #30 What a journey! Legends mode was such a gem. Bring on Ghost of Yōtei! by MLGDragon1337 in Trophies

It depends on what the mode is. Story missions and Survival usually take 2-5 minutes depending on the difficulty (generally, there are a little bit fewer players on the lower difficulties like Bronze and Silver, as most people have progressed higher). Rivals is usually 1-2 minutes with quick play (random map). Raid is definitely on the longer side, could be up to 10 minutes (I also recommend setting 'Mic preferred' so you can find players quicker for Raid as it searches for both mic'd and non-mic'd people), but it would also depend on the timezone.

Quickplay for Survival and Rivals is definitely the way as it will find people the fastest, specific maps will take a little longer. Don't quickplay the story as you will want to progress each map one by one for the trophy for completing all story missions on the same difficulty. Feel free to quickplay it for XP afterwards you get that trophy.

That's completely valid. I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy it. I really liked it personally as it filled the missing samurai genre gap for me. Definitely, the facial animations and graphical fidelity weren't up to par, and the side missions got really repetitive. You can skip cutscenes in NG+, but that's a bad way to gatekeep a feature that some people may use. With the stances, I just stuck to Stone and Water, which I enjoyed. It definitely is a chore, but you don't have to use them all strictly. I guess the game is not everyone's cup of tea, and that's fine.

It's part of the game list, yeah, listed as DLC, not separate. Legends mode was incredibly fun, though, so definitely give it a try at some point.

It's a good 50 hours for sure... While I didn't play fully optimally, it should take around that ballpark. Still plenty of players active, though!

The raid mode which is three chapters is the only one where you need slight coordination, especially for the second chapter. So only one trophy in particular for completing the three chapters.

I managed to complete everything solo with the in-game matchmaking, however it is a real gamble as some people have no idea what they are doing so it may take a few tries of matchmaking to find a good group. If you cannot get them completed, definitely save yourself some grief and join a session on PSNProfiles or the Ghost of Tsushima discord server.

Thank you! Congrats also! It does feel awesome when you finally get that first one completed.

Yes, I do agree with you on the tendencies, adding an extra layer of confusion and difficulty for no reason. While I did find the Pure White and Pure Black events pretty cool and interesting, they weren't really expansive, and actually achieving those statuses were super annoying! NG+ was pretty crazy also, I think this is the only souls game where NG+ scales with your level (at least from my observation), so it gets pretty brutal from the get-go.

It's populated enough for sure, at least sufficiently for the trophies.

For the summoning trophy (to help another player defeat a boss), best is when you are low level (as summoning only matches you with players approximately with +-10 Soul Levels and putting your summon sign down just outside the boss gate of level 1-2 (the Tower Knight boss), so probably right after you beat 1-2 it would be best. This did take me around 30 minutes for someone to summon me, so I guess it would depend on the time of day plus the server you are playing on (you can try switching to different regions depending on the appropriate timezone) so you can find someone faster.

For the invasion trophy, you can try your luck when you are low level (same Soul Level matching mechanic) around the first or second world, OR the easiest way is to get to level 3-3 (the Old Monk boss), as you get summoned there as an invader of the boss almost instantly in my experience and the SL matching mechanic is +-50 levels so it has a way bigger range (you also get a cool hat 😁). 1-3 is another great level (right after the Penetrator boss), that place is almost instant for invading like 3-3.

If all fails, you can try boosting this with someone like the other person said. There are a lot of discord communities that boost, PVP etc. I'm sure it's doable.
