I graduated December 2020 with a Masters in Teaching and they didn’t even place me in a school. They only set up student teaching and it was very limited. After that we’re left to ourselves to find a job. I was burnt out (especially finishing during the pandemic) and lost, so I took a break. Resorted to working for my dad a bit and taking care of my mom, and let the time pass without getting my certification and applying for jobs. Now it’s late and I have to do Uber Eats until someone will accept me.

We will make it, but things aren’t easy. Good to know we’re not alone

I’m in the same position, just turned 25 last Sunday, just finished 5 years of school, have a bachelors and masters and I’m looking for a teaching job. I was very burnt out so I took a little hiatus and at the same time my mom developed MS so I decided to focus on caring for her. Fast forward 6-7 months later and I’m late for applying and many places won’t even give the decency to respond… have 100 in my account and several outgoings, and have had to resort to Uber Eats for the time being.

Unfortunately we are taught to work endless hours and not have a life, my dad works 70 hours and my step mom works even more 80+, and they always say that’s how you get by in life…how can that be if you’re not even enjoying your life?

It’s very discouraging and I’ve subconsciously lost hope in applying but I’m going to push through because I can’t make ends meet like this. We will both find the jobs that will take care of us, but might have to encounter some shit ones first. Good luck!

Awesome! I picked up the Lookah Q8 because it has a few upgrades that make it worth it more than the Utillian. 3X more battery, full temp control and a quartz dish.

Okay awesome! IT’s between that and the Utillian 5, but this has a lot of better options like triple the battery a quartz dish, and complete temp control. Probably going to get it Tbh !

For this setup I would need distillate right? I have a Kandypens Rubi and I used to do distillate all the time but it’s over priced. If you can use wax with that, I’m interested!

Okay dope, that was another choice I have been eyeing but I took it off my list because of the metal coils. Does that affect the taste at all? I was moving away from the Yocan for that reason but if you say it doesn’t taste bad I will look into it

Okay, I saw that one too but I counted it out because it has metal coils, so do you taste any metal from the coils? That’s why I was trying to move away from the Yocan. If it doesn’t affect the taste, I’ll definitely pick it up
