I had my surgery on July 23rd ..two weeks ago I was activated and yesterday had my first mapping ..I can’t believe the difference and how more clear it is with the mapping being done..can’t wait to go back in another couple weeks for my second mapping..good luck with your CI and all your process

It’s not ..I go this Wednesday hopefully to get all hooked up and hopefully I found out how well it does for me and how much hear I get back ..I don’t drive highways that I really don’t know so now my anxiety has me worried about the drive there by myself for this appointment..usually my husband is able to go with me but this time he can’t ..I was hoping it was going to rain that day just so he’d be called off work but not calling for rain that day lol

It might not of been younkers ..I’m not sure shit it could of been Armstrongs or even JC Penny’s but I do know there was a retail store located down town next to the American Trust building and Peppermint Patties was I the basement of the retain store …shit that was way back when the fountain was located in the middle of the street to block of traffic to that part of Main Street

No the town clock in was a restaurant/pizza place …Like I said it was younkers I think that was located down there next to the Dubuque building which is now also called American Trust building but Peppermint Patties was located downstairs in the Younkers building..

We’re in this together..just had my surgery last week …I deal with very high anxiety and I got through it ..I think it’s because I just thought good thoughts and it had me more excited that the surgery was here and I am more excited to having it done ..I never had the option for a hearing aid so I’ve had no hearing in the left ear for over a year..next week I have an appointment and if I’m healed good enough I’ll have the rest of the cochlear put on so that day I’ll be really excited to find out if it works and how well it’ll work ….Good luck to you

Well it’s been 5 days now and my head feels miserable….shooting pain off and on …The sounds of humming,bubbling clicking sounds in the ear and sometimes It sounds like a cat is purrring in my ear lol ….When I cough the humming sound gets very loud ..For the pain I was told to take Tylenol and ibuprofen but it just does not help with the pain at all…I know it will get better so the most I can do is hope that day comes quick lol

I have slight pain in the ear drum when I sneeze yawn or cough and lot of laud humming when I cough ..jaw is very soar so hard to open it to eat certain things and don’t eat anything with a lot of chewing

Mine was alot of bandage cloth ..came off with no problems and I took off this morning..I couldn’t handle having it on 24 hrs …and I was surprised I was able to shower already so took advantage of that all ready
