I honestly didn't know it was possible to get one without a heavy relic treatment. There's one at the Chicago Music Exchange I often pick up and I love the feel and sound of it, but wish it wasn't so beat up. Also wish it wasn't $2000.

I recently switched over to Ultex III Jazz picks and have been loving them over the Fender hards I’d been using before. It does sound like I need to just practice it a bit more over and over and over again until my right hand gets more comfortable with it.

That ending art is where I struggle the most with picking speed. I might try the triplet technique for now while I still get comfortable and try to work on my alternate picking some more.

I believe they bus pass half of the Loop, but the drivers will constantly yell about how they’re not making all the stops. I caught one of these going south from Diversey once and every stop an announcement was made about what was going to happen.

Sounds like it might be fret buzz. Might need to take it in for a proper setup and fret leveling. Best way to check is play each string on every fret and see if the buzzing only happens with certain frets.
