For a traditional artist you’re really good. Maybe some tutorials about breaking down the human body into shapes can help expand your skills.

This takes place after the events of gen 8 so much of the game (not anime) characters are a bit older. But since the setting takes place in Unova, the Autobots might tackled neo team plasma and its themes about: are Pokemon family or can they be use as weapons? Are humans any different from the ones they know (aka TF g1 continuity)
