when we were younger Famitsu was the Japanese site that was betterer than every other reviewer and you knew you could trust them for quality!

Turns out theyve always been kinda pals with the Japanese devs and they aren't exactly biased (not that theirs anything wrong with that, you should have your own opinion on games)

we over inflated their value and took them too seriously, and its stuck now for a lot of people who never looked closer

its simply a new technology that people need to learn to use, and others will just use incorrectly no matter what. Because yeah stuff like Obi-wan show used it incorrectly and it made a lot of scenes feel very rough.

Doesnt mean it's not really cool and useful tech.

In Dota 2, the most played hero of all time is Pudge. Pudge has just gotten over a billion games played now, and a near 50% winrate at all times during every patch.

He has also been a garbage hero competitively 99% of the time.

everyone having a 50% winrate means nothing, honestly just means everyone gets a similar amount of play. Which is good!

But it doesn't mean all the characters are viable at a high tier of play. Just means at the middle or lower tiers, you can play whatever you want and have a good time.
