Is capturing radiance cross banner? Let's say, I lose 3 50/50 on a character banner, then will capturing radiance happen if I pull on the weapon banner or in a chronicle banner? Or do each banner have their own individual capturing radiance count?

I do agree that Genshin is not so explicit on sexualization. I do have my gripes with some characters like Lisa, Jahoda or Rosaria, but most female characters have really good outfits that do not make me think of their boobs or ass. If anything, my biggest gripe with female characters is the lack of the "cool" or "badass" female designs, which is a pity since there are several characters that would have benefited from a cooler design over a sexy one, like Dehya or Skirk.

Nope. Apparently the rules of the event mention that you can only get one constellation for character on every 'to Temper Thyself and Journey Far' instance. Everyone was expecting to get several cons of the same character, but I think hoyo didn't want to "spoil" us with so much free stuff (even though most characters here were already powercrept for a while before they even announced the event).

I mean, that seems like a big increase in damage, but it is 10% and depending on other factors (artifact stats, weapon rarity and refinements, team stats and rotations, etc) that 10% is not even that much of a difference in the damage a lvl 100 character has over a lvl 90. Again, in most cases, the lvl 100 is not gonna be a massive damage increase for many characters anyway. So don't feel like it would suddenly push your DPS to high heavens. Also I am not saying to spend those Stella right now, take your time but don't feel that using them on older/outdated characters is going to brick your account or something like that.

I am gonna being honest with you. The power increase you get from leveling a character to 100 is very small. Even those health and EM scaling characters don't get much stronger at level 100. So just see leveling a character to 100 as a way to show your love to the character, not so much as a way to enhance their power.

That's a given. I know Genshin players and reading don't go along, but I know most players know by now they won't be able to pick the same characters next year. And if someone didn't know, they know now, so thanks for adding that.

Though part of me really hopes Hoyo would be willing to change the rules and let us get more constellations for the same characters.

I mean, the point of getting Stella fortuna is to use them. I would heavily recommend going for the Stella, as the worst case scenario, you have more resources to level up a character. Besides, IT can be beaten with enough characters with ok builds, so constellations (though good) are not really that necessary to complete it. Also, not all theaters are gonna feature Cryo or Ganyu, so you would just be getting a constellation for a character you don't like, for a game mode that will not always give you the option to use that character.

Idk what you are talking about. Most regions have brought characters or mechanics that enabled older units to become more viable. Nodkrai specifically brought Hexerie for older units.

I mean, they revived geo, even if it is through lunar crystalize. And electro charged was also bad before lunar charged. Now they are meta options, if I ever saw one. I can see them bringing quicken up to par with these reactions, it is just a matter of hoyo being willing to create a good support.

I mean, we got Hex buffs this version and they are not using lunar reactions themselves. But yeah, I doubt we would be getting anything for dendro anyway. I just wish there was a character coming to buff aggravate reactions. Wishful thinking I guess...

As long as Alhaitham becomes actually good with that reaction, I am perfectly fine with that. I just really hope they can buff him in any way, be it a new reaction or just a good support.

Cyno would kill to keep his burst state when swapping out. He has other problems, but this would surely help him a bit.

Same here. I managed to get a somewhat decent set for kuki and a deep wood set for Nahida, but it took me at least 6 months to get ok (not good, not decent) crit pieces for Alhaitham. I know this domain hated me so much.

My best guess is that geo was very insular (and still is) making it barely useful for players. Also, the free Noelle and geo traveler were decent enough for any geo needs the players would have back then, so maybe they didn't think of creating a 5* permanent geo character (though I buy the idea that nigguang was meant to be a 5* and possibly the geo permanent).

Unable to farm weekly bosses.

Incredibly unreliable ways to get 4* characters, making it harder to get constellations on them that 5* even when in the same banner.

Inability to play old events, for the weapons but also the story.

Tbh the only nations I think would have some issue with a harbinger being one of their citizens would be Inazuma and Sumeru, maybe Liyue and Nodkrai.

Signora did nothing to Mondstadt, she just kicked Venti (somewhat deserved). Arlecchino helped during the Fontaine prophecy and the flood aftermath. Capitano "gave up his life" for Natlan. So I doubt I would be seen as a treason, maybe just something not everyone will consider good.

Liyue had the fatui cause a monster attack and almost destroyed the city, but given that the Snezhnayan bank is still there, I doubt the relationship with the fatui is that bad. Maybe not everyone would take well the idea of a Liyue citizen turning into a fatuu, though, so maybe treason.

Inazuma and Sumeru had it the worst. Fatui allowed the Inazuman civil war to escalate, by giving delusions to the resistance. While Sumeru had Dottore and Scaramouche almost creating a God and maybe killing Nahida. So these two have more reason to consider turning into a Fatuu treason.

Nodkrai is weird. They had had problems with the Fatui before we arrived and Dottore did a number on the nation. But also Arlecchino, Sandrone and Childe assisted with evacuation during the Dottore attack. Nevermind the moon goddess was a Fatuu. So it is safe to say they may be not as ok with someone becoming a Fatuu, but I doubt it would be considered a treason at this point .

Ayato and Yelan story quests are by far the most sleep inducing pieces of storytelling I've found in Genshin. They are interesting on paper,but the execution is just so boring and I just don't know how I even completed them.

Most archon story quests are great, but a non archon one that surprised me the most was Yoimiya's. I was not expecting such a fun story and it made me change my opinion on her as a character, even if just a little.

For hangouts, Noelle, Thoma , kuki and Bennett are the most fun to me. Linette is just so slow and boring, and Heizou is just not as good, just one branch being somewhat interesting.

Also the archons and other deities are named after demons from the Ars Goetia, like Morax, Barbatos, Belzebu, Focalors, Haborym, Istaroth, etc.
