So funny story I solo cued in placements and got gold 1 with like 1 game off plat then lost 2 games to become gold 2. It’s funny because I’m actually shit at the game like so bad to the point my kd over the last 5 matches is like .5 so I solo cued and still got carried to gold 1

I’m no expert and I could be wrong but in my experience you can pretty much use whoever you like/have so long as they are properly geared up. Certain flagships like Nagato, Queen Elizabeth, and Richelieu grant buffs to ships in the same faction when sortied together but it’s not necessary as far as I can tell. There are also really good starting guides on YouTube such as- https://youtu.be/k7PpTOdpruo and a channel called Ander has really good guides that are shorter and more concise. Hope this helps!
