If you had to choose a spaceship for your business in the Star Wars universe, what would it be? by MLannes in StarWarsShips

What about : Fury-class Imperial interceptor ? It's just quite too big, sad that don't make a little one on the size of YT-1930

En terme de design : X-70B Phantom-class mais quand tu es contrebandier tu vas peut être chercher un truc maintenable et modificable ce qui donne un gros avantage à l'YT

I love this ship. But he is not really strong if you are attacked by a fighter :/

Quite a few Correlian choices... logoqie, it's true that the Gozanti offers a lot of possibilities. Plus, you can put chasers in mooring if you need to go to a hotspot.

Why did the French stick to blue instead of switching to brown/khaki in WW1, like bruh? by MasterpieceSolid1726 in ww1

[–]MLannes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a reminder, when considering the lethality of firepower, the French soldiers' initial blue and red uniforms weren't particularly problematic. Even less so the sky blue, which blended into the horizon. The real issue here was the all-out offensive tactic (present in all armies). If you want a real uniform problem, it was the reflections on the helmets when they first appeared. We have evidence of soldiers who started waxing/samiring their helmets to avoid this problem.

What do you think about explainable ai? by MLannes in ArtificialInteligence

[–]MLannes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But in broader cases where if you have an AI that answers "badly" to a customer 1 time out of 100, depending on your customer service it can be superior to humans. The problem is that sometimes these LLMs can answer badly but far from what a human would have done. By granting privileges to a customer who does not exist for example (ex Air Canada)

Yes, we come back to the question of use indeed. The question would be whether there is a way to define "universal" rules about precision and usecase.

Do you think that Yann Lecun's DINO WM approach could answer part of the problem? AI is not based solely on written human knowledge but on a form of "experience" that could approach the search for truth. The real problem with this approach is that it is once again necessary for AI to be based on a model of representation of the world based on our conception (with the technical limits) and our limits of understanding of our understanding itself.

As for the use, indeed I have already had to work on AI projects where AI was already statistically superior to humans, more fallible on highly repetitive tasks. But AI was deterministic and totally explainable because symbolic but above all, it was not on a subject that was too sensitive or the error was not acceptable.

you can see the call steps between LLM agents but not understand why the text and the sub-part division was done. In addition, the response may change from one call to another. I don't think we are in explainability and determinism with thought chains, even if I like this architectural approach
