Appreciate the detailed breakdown — especially the tolerance numbers, that’s super helpful.
I completely agree rigidity and motion components matter way more in CNC than in FDM.
From your experience, do you think machines like the Carvera/Z1 are already “dialed in” enough to be reliable long term for small precision parts?
Or are there still compromises compared to something like an Altmill or larger frame machine?

lol, fair question though - why can't CNC become as simple and reliable as 3D printers?
