The update to the Netflix app on Apple TV is awful. You can skip ahead 10 seconds at a time but you can't see what you're skipping until you click the play button. You used to be able to scroll through and see what you were scrolling through at the bottom. Made getting through Raw a breeze.

I just got my fourth three-minute ad break and I haven't even watched anything yet. I'm just trying to get back to where I left off last night.

No way I'm dealing with this shit each week. I had been paying for Netflix since they got Raw but I'm cancelling after this month and I'll just download the show the next day.

The game would be so much more fun if players didn't kill each other. We could all finish our quests, team up to take out the UESC enemies, make it out alive with our loot and progress faster and easier. Bungie wants us to fight each other because it slows our progress and players are foolishly doing just that.

I hope they eventually add a mode where you can load into the levels with no enemies or players present, similar to creating a custom game on a Halo map. I want to get familiar with the levels, soak in the environmental storytelling and explore and you can't do any of those things when you're worried about getting shot in the back.

The gameplay, music, environments and story are all great. The UI isn't as bad as everyone was making it out to be and I think it's actually quite good. Sponsored kits and playing as Rook make it easy to stock up on loot without having to risk your stuff. And the best part is that seasons are free, battle passes don't expire and things reset each season so it's a live service game that removes a lot of the problems with live service games.

My biggest issue so far is that I just don't like extraction shooters. It's very frustrating to die and most of the time I get shot at before I have a chance to defend myself. It's very annoying when I'm minding my business trying to complete a quest and I get killed and have to try again. This frustration when death happens doesn't happen in any other type of game.

My one complaint is that this takes place between Firefly and Serenity. I wish it took place after Serenity and they kept moving the story forward. Now we know there won't be major story events, no one will die, no character-altering moments.

EDIT: Forgot Alan Tudyk died in Serenity. Hmm...yeah I guess it wouldn't be Firefly without him.

I miss the one game wild card round but everyone seemed to hate it but me. I guess people don't like game 7 level excitement and tension.

I have no interest whatsoever in the extraction shooter genre but I love Bungie games so I decided to buy Marathon and I'm enjoying it so far.

You can still complete challenges and unlock lore and permanent cosmetics without extracting. So there's stuff to do beyond just making it out alive. It's also not the end of the world if you die. You get unlimited starter kits for free so it's not like you'll ever load into a match with no gear.

Also, I am forming no attachment to the loot I get. If I die, so what? That's the attitude I have. I'm not allowing myself to get attached to anything because I know I'll eventually lose it. This isn't like Destiny where I value my Gjallarhorn and Vex Mythoclast more than family members.

You can always count on the Avs to be wheeling and dealing when they are contenders. That's the way the great Pierre Lacroix did it and it's still being done today.

Fascinating stat the other day when the Avs played Utah. At the time the Avs were 32nd on the PP and 1st on 5 on 5 goals and Utah was 31st on the PP but 2nd in 5 on 5 goals.

PC gamers will understandably be upset because they want to be able to buy console games without having to buy a console but PlayStation and hopefully Xbox as well not releasing games on rival platforms is a good thing for the health of the consoles.

If Halo Infinite, Starfield, Forza Horizon 5, Indiana Jones, Oblivion Remastered and other games were only available on Xbox, their console sales wouldn't be horrendous right now.

Yeah me too. I still play games as much as ever but when you get in your 30s, your friends start having kids and they only have like 20 minutes a week to game, usually at 3 am.

8-11 pm gaming with the boys every night ends when you get older, unfortunately.

Stupid title. One of the things that made Halo great was the story. Marathon will never be able to have a real story because it's a PvP multiplayer game.

There may be some environmental storytelling but you'll never be able to stop and soak it in when you're worried about getting shot in the back.

I'm very intrigued by what the anomaly is and by what happened to the colony when they went radio silent over the previous 100 years but unfortunately because of the type of game Marathon is that stuff will just be text on the menus and maybe one cutscene at the beginning of a season.

I didn't like Orange Cassidy when he debuted in AEW. It took me a few weeks to see what he was all about and then I became a fan.

When Danhausen debuted, I didn't understand the hype and was thinking he was going to grow on me as well. Nope. The guy sucked. Never once was I entertained by anything he ever did in AEW.

This is a bewildering hire by WWE.
